CNN’s Special Report On Putin Uses Media Echo Chamber To Attack Trump

‘The Most Powerful Man in the World’ offers little expertise, choosing instead to cherrypick interviews and history to prove a political point.

CNN advertised its special report “The Most Powerful Man in the World”—about Russia’s President Vladimir Putin—as an answer to the question, “did he use his power to elect Donald Trump?”

After 43 minutes, however, Fareed Zakaria’s production failed to examine Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election campaign seriously.

If Russia had not tossed communism in the dump, I wonder which country and which leader they would blame. They had nothing but love-in’s when it was the old Soviet Union under communism, and even now reject any type of recognition of the millions of victims of communism.

Classic political Kafkatrapping: the claim that the Russians got Trump elected and the lack of proof shows that it could only have been the Russians because only they have the power to do so and remain incognito.

For those of us old enough to remember when the American left just loved Russia… this is too funny…

    • Alain

Indeed they loved the old Soviet Union, because it was communist. They ignored and at times denied the millions of victims.

A simpleminded CNN exercise trying to fracture Trump’s base with scary Russians in control of Washington stories. Not exactly super brilliant but guess you go with whichever lies the boss likes.
