How did we ever survive without NPR, PBS and NEA?

Barbara Streisand will have to run a bake sale, I guess.

Don’t worry, a Hollywood judge will soon reverse the cuts.

Aren’t lefties big on all things “grassroots” and developing “organically” through community organizing and raising awareness? If the art subsidized by the NEA and the NEH are so vital to society it should find its support among these “woke” patrons.

Also on having the peons pay for same while they are exempt because of their “virtuous” speech which – somehow – absolves them of having to actually contribute to any cause, let alone contribute sacrificially.

Don’t forget, the NEA also gave us “Piss Christ” too!
    Get rid of them.

Yesterday while awaiting my take-out order I watched a big of a press conference on the budget, and was it ever so predictable, I mean the reporters’ questions and comments. I don’t know the name of the man fielding the questions, but he was first class. The reporters attempted to claim that Trump didn’t care about those poor seniors depending on meals-on-wheels, since no money was in the budget for that program. The fellow reminded them that these programs were municipal or state programs and it was not up to the federal government to fund them. The reporters tried the same approach for every other non federal program but got no where. What really impressed me was how to the point and cool the fellow was when confronted by clearly a visceral anti-Trump mob. Of course I never expected that the outcome would be them reporting the truth of the news conference.

Paying for these organizations would be like a condemned man paying for the training of his executioner. Only in Canada do conservatives follow this meme when Harper refused to cut off all finding to the CBC.
