Trudeau’s arrogance fuels ‘Trumpism’ in Canada

What does it say about the government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau when it repeatedly suggests the vast majority of Canadians are Islamophobic, bigoted and racist?

Time and again, Trudeau and the Liberals try to come up with divisive wedge issues for the Conservatives to slip on — which is politicking, not governing — and time and again it blows up in their faces.

The latest is the Liberals’ so-called “anti-Islamophobia” motion proposed by MP Iqra Khalid but, more importantly, backed by Trudeau and the PMO, the wording of which a recent Forum Research poll found 71% of Canadians surveyed oppose, with only 14% in support.

One of Harper’s supposed failings was that he was arrogant – in a cold and distant, snooty sort of manner. Whether there was something to this or not, his attitude certainly never approached Trudeau’s obvious contempt and distaste for average Canadians.

Little Tater learned it at his Daddy’s knee. How quickly we forget. P.E.T. had nothing but contempt for elected parliamentarians. They were quickly turned into representatives of the ruling party, not representatives of their constituents.

BTW, Harper was consistently misinterpreted by the media — he was/is a very shy and reserved person.

No, Harper was consistently demonised by the media, not misinterpreted.

Cold, emotionless and distant maybe, but not arrogant.

Over the last fifty years socialists in the west successfully pushed religion out of the public sphere. Now they’re welcoming it back in. And everybody knows why.

    • Alain

Actually they only welcome one “religion”, Islam.

      • Millie_Woods

        That is correct.

Yes, but did you not see him at the Broadway play!! He is so wonderful! And magazines say he is the most sexiest politician on the planet.

    • Glad I missed that, what a grandstanding little attention whore.

The 30 year old Dutch Green Party leader Jesse Klaver is supposed to be a legitimate threat to take that title away from him. He actually is better looking (and considerably younger) than JT.
