What went wrong in Pakistan

How the first modern Islamic state became a source of Islamic terror

Pakistan was meant to be a model, an example for other nations to emulate. It was founded after World War II, as the sun was setting on the British Empire and India was preparing for independence. India’s Muslims, though glad to see the end of the Raj, were apprehensive about becoming a minority in a Hindu-majority land.

They envisioned instead what might be called a “two-state solution”: the establishment of a homeland for the subcontinent’s Muslims in areas where Muslims were in the majority. Their new nation was to be free, pluralist and tolerant. “We are starting with this fundamental principle,” Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Quaid-e-Azam (Great Leader) declared in 1947, “that we are all citizens and equal citizens of one State.”

What went wrong in Pakistan? For a start, it’s populated by Pakis!

    Islam is what went wrong.

    • Pretty much.

    • Islamic theology is a social blueprint for failure.

Take a once peaceful Hindu/Buddhist population, add Islamic theology and you get – Pakistan.

Imagine what Pakistan today would be without Islam.

      Islam is what went wrong.

Pakistan was never going to be “free, pluralist and tolerant”. Its very act of splitting away from India is the proof of that. The leaders of the secession might have believed “free, pluralist and tolerant”, but it is more likely that they pushed that line to get support outside India and recognition of their new nation, Pakistan, the “Land of the Pure”. Pure what? Pure Islam is the only possible explanation, since there was not an ethnic and cultural purity in the area they claimed. In a Land of the Pure Islam, there was never going to be room for equality of the kufr, only a role as second or third class citizen and subservient dhimmis.

Yup and look at what the Pakistani did to Bangladesh before 1971. And the war was an utter disgrace. It’s too bad that India was still to ineffecidentify to finish off Pakistan. The license Raj saved Pakistan twice.

Jinnah himself was a secularist and not at all a fanatic. However, at the time of independence, he was terminally sick with tuberculosis and died less than a year later, before he could ground his new nation in his democratic principles.

I still don’t think his vision was ever likely to be sustained even if he had lived a long life. Too much hatred in the people, too many people wanting to rule the new country.

The main joke is that Pak – i – stan is read from right to left and means Land-of- Pure ( the pure ) .
If Pakistani’s are the PURE true muslims, the World in is trouble because if pakistani’s take over the whole World be one big islamic hell-hole .
Pakistani’s now oppresses the Ahmadi sect of muslims that are a minority
like they used to be . Muslims in Canada will pull the same ruse to get special rights as a minority right now but once the majority…..Canada will be another islamic hell-hole run by 10th century knuckle dragging homophobe that beat their wife and rape little girls.

Justin and Wynne are too stupid to review the last 1400 years of islam to what happen to every nation it invades and what they do to the natives of that land.
islam won’t be any different in Canada no matter how many times Sheema Khan claims that sharia will bring more rights to people than out Charter and Constitution .
Muslims are now vandalizing their own mosque to play the victim so the media doesn’t focus on the honour killings and rapes these rabid savages have brought to canada.

Obama said it was pronounced Pock ee stan.
And then I punched a democrat.
Because, fuck, what an asshole he is.

    That almost rhymes!

And they got the possessive correct so that puts them up on most NYC non-white school teachers, and 1/3 of the white ones.

Pakistan a model? Of inbreeding perhaps: 70% of Pakistanis are inbred.

I have elderly pakistani clients here, a large extended family. They’re actually pretty normal. However they’re all first cousin marriages and consanguine. They really don’t like to talk about it, it’s like a stain or a shameful secret.

      • Dana Garcia

Sadly, the “secret” may show up in a future generation, with horrific birth defects. Having good parents is the best start in life. I was blessed with Presbyterian Americans, for example.

Bangladesh is next. India may have to cede some of its northern provinces in the next 50 years as they become 100% majority muslim.
