Three in four Canadians favour testing immigrants for “Canadian values”

A startling result from a new poll conducted by CROP for Radio-Canada between January 27-29 revealed that, in spite of heavy criticism from the Liberals and some Conservatives, 74 per cent of 2,513 people surveyed said they are in favour of screening potential immigrants for “Canadian values” as was proposed by Conservative leadership hopeful MK Kellie Leitch. In Quebec, the number of those in favour stood at 75 per cent.

More anti-Semitic hate from a Canadian imam

“You will fight against the Jews and you will kill them until even a stone would say: Come here, Muslim, there is a Jew (hiding himself behind me); kill him.”

Turkey Says “Migrant Deal Has Ended”, May Unleash Millions Of Refugees

Which means that one year after it collected $3 billion for the migrant deal, Turkey has just voided the agreement, and the next step would be that Turkey is about to flood Europe with refugees currently held inside Turkish borders. And since by some estimates Turkey currently harbors over 2 million potential migrants, Europe’s refugee situation is about to get far worse, and as a corollary, support for anti-immigrant political organizations across the continent is about to take another step function higher.

Study: 4-in-5 Oklahoma City students can’t read clocks

They may miss that hour of sleep, but as we turn our clocks ahead, chances are kids won’t be changing their watches.

That’s because the vast majority don’t have a watch.

A new study shows that only 1-in-10 Oklahoma City kids ages 6-12 own a watch. And only 1-in-5 know how to read it.

Appalachian State University’s Writing Center now advises students to include disclaimers on academic papers indicating that they are using gender-neutral pronouns in an effort “to be inclusive.”

Trudeau Gives Preference to Islam over all other Religions in Canada

Trudeau and his Liberals have started a process of developing, issuing and then passing a law which will give preferential treatment to Islam and all followers and adherents of Islam in Canada over all other Canadian religious groups, including Canadian Protestants, Catholics, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus and Sikhs, just to name a few of the major religious faiths practiced in Canada.

E.U. court says employers can ban Muslim headscarf in workplace

Dutch election today – what would a mediocre or even poor result for Geert Wilders mean for not just the Netherlands, but Europe in general? What would a positive result mean? I have to admit to being a tad nervous: this is another bell-weather.

And now the editorial at the Toronto Star. Canadians are racist bastards! There is nothing wrong with islam being forced on Peel Region schools. And the Star explains why there is nothing wrong with a Liberal cabinet minister’s family being Nazis. I’m sure the Star’s defense of a Liberal cabinet minister has nothing to do with the retired publisher being given a cushy job with the government. Wynne wants public input on who should be Ontario’s first science officer. Because what Ontario needs, is another civil servant. The Liberal government is going ahead with buying 18 super hornets, even though they only have a life span of 12 years, and can’t be used up north, meaning the U.S. will have to patrol the North for us. But the important news, is that feminist Trudeau is flying down to New York today to see a Broadway play. How nice.

Re: Canadian values test for immigrants,
    “In Quebec….in favor….75%”
As long as those values included cowardice, freeloading off the taxpayer and snotty self righteousness, then yes, I’m certain those values were highly regarded in Quebec.
I noticed the newspaper failed to acknowledge that there was a few Canadians who actually did NOT live in Quebec. (Oh well, they don’t matter anyway – right?)

Aside from your anti-Quebec sentiments – some of which I share, btw – precisely what are you saying about the topic being discussed?

      • G

That the “values” of many Quebecers are not necessarily the values of people in other areas of Canada.
I don’t support increased immigration. I actually would love to see a 5 year immigration moratorium.
But to look at Quebec and say they speak for Canada is BS.
Canadian journalists do this all the time. They look around, see Quebec and Ontario and say “Ok well, I’m finished. Print the story.”

You really need to work on your reading comprehension since the article does not say what you claim. You simply misunderstood the article and the research being reported on. Your literacy skills are not as finely honed as you think.

Father converts to islam to marry muslim woman, has a child, divorces, quits islam.
Now a “family court” judge rules that the boy must go to an islamic faith school.
To learn how properly to slaughter his apostate father?
