At UN, Nikki Haley Has Become the Conscience of Trump Administration

Upon assuming the presidency, many observers expressed reservations about what a Trump administration foreign policy would look like. More than any other representative of President Donald Trump’s government, United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley has answered those critics.

At the UN, Haley has articulated a clear vision of how America would handle itself on the world stage: a stalwart friend to its allies, fearsome foe to its enemies, and consistent voice of reason in a forum often governed by the whims of authoritarian regimes and violent special interests.

Why do we even have an ambassador to the U.N.?

    • Norman_In_New_York

If we can’t reform the UN, we can at least try to use some diplomatic jujitsu to make it work for us. For too long, the State Department has sucked up to the tyrannies that have dominated the UN. An assertive, principled America might change things. If not, we can always pull the plug, and that threat just might concentrate a few minds at the headquarters.

        LOL.
May as well try to “reform” the 3rd reich…into the 4th one.

Yeah, I’m not a fan of her either.
She should have no place in the Trump administration.
      Zero!

Trump appointing her to the UN was a diabolically intelligent move.
He takes an opponent and offers to send her to the UN,
She accepts and now she serves at his discretion so she can’t beak off anymore.
And he gets to champion someone on his side to replace her as governor.

She is a Russophobe who has said that Russia needs to “get out of Crimea” if Moscow wants good relations with the U.S.. I suppose she is too stupid to know that Russia has been in Crimea for 100’s of years. There is no way Russia is going to leave Crimea. Of course she is not the only Russophobe in Trumps administration – Mattis is, Pence is, NSA McMaster is.. and many more.

Trump campaigned on better relations with Russia and yet he has surrounded himself (I believe unwittingly) with neocon Russophobes who want to start WW3. I have a bad feeling that foreign policy under Trump will be no different from what it would be under Clinton. He has been hoodwinked by the traitors that surround him. I expect we will see more of the same in Syria with the U.S. funding and arming terrorist in a bid to take down Assad. The only difference is there will be more U.S. soldiers on the ground which will result in more U.S. casualties and for who? Saudi Arabia? Israel? Turkey?

After all the sacrifices that Trump has made to become President its sad to see him become just another puppet President being controlled by the deep state.

      Agreed.
Still, if the deep state wants a strong economy to do its bidding, then it is in the deep state’s interest to stop immigration.
