Trudeau silent on carbon pricing costs

It’s obvious why Prime Minister Justin Trudeau doesn’t want to release federal government estimates of the cost of his carbon pricing plan to Canadians.

Historically, polls show that when the public is reminded that “carbon pricing” means higher taxes and/or prices for most goods and services, public support for the idea roughly shifts from two-to-one in favour to two-to-one against.

Anti-immigrant anger threatens to remake the liberal Netherlands

Maddow: Melania libel lawsuit over escort allegations part of “assault” on media

Looks like Rachel Maddow’s feminist solidarity doesn’t extend to Melania Trump . . . Appearing on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show this morning, did Maddow express outrage over a newspaper report on the possibility that Melania Trump had in the past worked as an “escort?” Not at all. To the contrary, Maddow described Melania’s lawsuit against the newspaper involved as part of an “attack” and “assault” on the media. Maddow fretted that the media lacked the resources to “fight back.”

Sweden not deporting their Muslim migrant rapists

Sweden won’t deport the Muslim migrant rapists behind the mushrooming rape epidemic, but they will prosecute anyone who speaks critically of the Muslim migrants and their rape ideology.

Sweden’s refusal to deport theses rapists is an insult to women, and especially to the victims.

PM’s inaction, lack of leadership on asylum seekers is grossly irresponsible

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau should do the responsible thing and announce that the federal government is officially opposed to the illegal entry of asylum seekers into Canada.

The fact he hasn’t done so is troubling, to say the least.
