Palestinian leader Abbas invited to meet Trump: ‘The time has come to make a deal’

President Donald Trump invited Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to the White House to discuss resuming peace talks in their first contact since Trump took office in January.

Abbas’ spokesman Nabil Abu Rdeneh said that Abbas would travel “very soon.”

    Can you say coup.

  • FactsWillOut

    Detained at airport.
    Full cavity search.
Escorted to Oval Office in a jumpsuit under armed guard.

  • Millie_Woods

I agree, it’s time for another round of charades.

  • Bataviawillem

I hope he can handle the truth, because I think some truth will be spoken by Trump.

  • vwVwwVwv

not good at all, the 84 year old Abbas will sign a Paper and Israel
will have to bleed. Agreements are useless with Islam.

    • FactsWillOut

The Israeli government provides water, food and medical care to the Gazans as it is.
Where I come from, providing aid and comfort to the enemy is called “treason.”

      • vwVwwVwv

where you come from this treason is called genocide this days.

        • FactsWillOut

          Pretty much, yes.

          • vwVwwVwv

but you are right. i agree, its actually treason.

  • marty_p

Making a peace agreement with Abbas (Arafat in a business suit) is impossible. If he makes any concessions he’s a walking dead man. The Palis don’t want peace they want Israel.

  • Justin St.Denis

I admit that I pulled the plug on cable and broadcast media a decade ago. However, I am certain I read somewhere that “Negotiating With Hamas” was cancelled several seasons ago.

  • Hard Little Machine

    Choke on a horse cock.

  • Spatchcocked

Abbas is riding the tiger. A genuine attempt at peace on his behalf would lead to his immediate Sadation.
These guys have a nice little racket going….lots of lolly and perks and power…..why would they throw it away.

  • Islamic theology is the problem.

Sahih Bukhari (52:177) – Allah’s Apostle said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.”

As long as Muslims believe Islamic theology, there will be no change.

Admit it. Face the simple fact. Find a way to force a reformation on Islam.

    • Sunshine

The only way to reform Islam is through the life of their ideal man. His last ten years must be eradicated.

  • Sunshine

Abbas wants the money to keep flowing. Nothing more. Trump is making him travel halfway around the world for a 60-minute meeting. Prediction: Trump will reduce money flow.

  • Dana Garcia

As the master of making the deal, Trump knows that both sides have to want it.

So, political theater for whatever reason.

    • V10_Rob

I suspect the pledge to move the embassy to Jerusalem will be quietly walked by, to give Abbas something to show for the trip. Hopefully that concession will be accompanied by a clear warning that the US will put Abbas’ nuts in a vice if the Palestinians don’t behave.

  • Oracle9

Trump needs to understand that, regarding the war against Israel, Abbas cannot represent the caliphate, the Hamas, or the people his PLO claims to represent.

And if he did renounce Islamic violence his lifespan would be less than 72 hours.

  • QiPo

Wonder if he will enter and exit the WH via the kitchen as Obama made the Dali Lama! I can think of one particular pipe perfect for this rat, but he’s too fat.

  • Dave

WOW! After reading some of the comments on N/P’s site I’m convinced the N/P has some seriously mental defiency amongst some of it’s readers.

The author of The Art of the Deal surely knows when not to close it.
A kafir should never ever trust the word of a Muslim. It’s not me saying this, it’s them, in their own words.
The Sharia says this (highlights mine):

    r8.2 — Permissible Lying:
If a praiseworthy aim is attainable through both telling the truth and lying, it is unlawful to accomplish through lying because there is no need for it. When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible (N: i.e. when the purpose of lying is to circumvent someone who is preventing one from doing something permissible), and obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory.

    Jihad is an obligatory goal:

o9.1 — The Obligatory Character of Jihad
In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.
The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a communal obligation,” meaning upon the Muslims each year.
The second state is when non-Muslims invade a Muslim country or near to one, in which case jihad is personally obligatory (def: c3.2) upon the inhabitants of that country, who must repel the non-Muslims with whatever they can).

  • Ed

Cut off all western foreign aid. Let the saudis support them… they seem to have a lot of money to promote jihad.

    You’ll have a “deal” in 10 minutes.

  • Alain

So here we go again, and I really thought that Trump would not continue with this nonsense. The sensible thing would be to put the Arabs on notice that as long as they continue with their terrorism, and attacks against Israelis, they will get nothing: no money, no peace talks or whatever. I doubt the Arabs would be able to bury their hatred for Jews and their agenda to wipe out Israel even then, but it would be a green light for Israel to finally do what should have been done long ago: return the so-called disputed lands to Israel, remove Arab control of the Temple Mount along with their hideous mosque and expel all who refuse to live in peace.

  • LairdKintyre

Abb-ass reminds me of an old self righteous dips hit there I once worked for. Stupid ass arrogant face with the mustacho and glasses set. Chris his name was I called him toadstool because he looked like he should’ve been squatting on one.

  • Scaramouche

If Trump is so against “radical Islamic terrorism,” I don’t really see the point of inviting to the White House a leader whose regime rewards terrorists.

  • Jaedo Drax

Perhaps he should consider demanding new elections in the territories, since there haven’t been any presidential elections since 2005. And none at all in Gaza.

    • The result would be Hamas victory in both areas.

      • Jaedo Drax

Of course it would, and would save the time and fiction of meeting with a “leader” that doesn’t actually have the support of the people he is leading.

        • But who cares? Israel doesn’t need a new Arab Spring in the territories. We know that even more evil people would come to power given the chance. Better the devil you know than a new one, I guess.

  • simus1

There is only one thing abbas is authorized to deal on at a meeting with Trump without getting himself tortured to death on his return to Shitistan:

the size of the bribe (plus his secret commission),
the supposed duration of the “secret” ongoing truce (a complete fiction).

  • A big error, inviting Abbas (chief “Palestinian” radical Islamic terrorist) to the WH. This just weakens Trump’s credibility.

  • Minicapt

And Bibi muses to a reporter that Abbas might not be allowed to return to Ramallah if he leaves …

    Cheers
