‘Day Without Women’ Was A Bit Of A Bust. Here Were Its Worst Misfires

Striking from smiling, hurting the poor, and suppressing male authors were some of the genius ideas of ‘Day Without Women’ activists.

Despite the tremendous amount of free marketing for the day provided by media outlets, and the major funds devoted to the effort, the day was a bit of a bust. A “day without women” turned out to mostly be like every other day, with a few notable exceptions.

Let’s look at a few of the mis-steps organizers and other activists took.

I wonder… how about a day without men? How would this go down? Fix your own leaking toilet, sweetie. Oh, and the asphalt needs fixing on the road and it is -14C? How about putting on some hard hats and boots? How do you like them, now?
(I actually witnessed a crew last winter working in unbelievably bad conditions fixing a leak in the road in my neighborhood. Because it needed to be done. I could not believe how hard they were working. Not one woman in the group.)

Sometimes they hold the traffic signs and complain about patriarchy.

I love men and the hard work they do. Things that women would not even dare. I did not mind Sophie Trudeau, not that I am a fan, but she said could we not honour men too? The boys and men that we raised to be decent men and respect women. I hate that a person cannot express themselves without being shouted down and put into a politically correct or incorrect box. My old Canada believed in free speech, no matter what, when we were FREEBORN CITIZENS. Not dor much longer I fear with M103.

I don’t think these guys missed them.

Early reports indicate there was 98% less crying on the job.

Talk to me about “International Women’s Day” when there is an “International Men’s Day”. Until then get out of my face and get a life.

I like the tweet that says that women are “birthing half of the population”. Shows the brain power behind the movement.

    • Alain

Yes, but without men even that would be impossible.

Takes two to tango, or make a baby. These feminists are reality denying idiots.

Sad thing is, they convince their best gay friend to be a sperm donor and then years later they hide behind a judge who grants them child support.

    • Petrilia

      Who birthed the other half?

      There’s an old joke.
A very old joke about sex change operations.
So what was the most painful part of your sex change operation?
Was it when they cut off your dick?
No, it was when they took out half my brain.
It was really funny when I was single and probably explains why I didn’t get married until I was in my early thirties.
But, as Norm MacDonald would say in character as Burt Reynolds: Funny.

  • Telling feminists not to smile?!?!? Its like telling dogs not to solve quadratic equations.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

I can’t help but solve quadratic equations.

I always ask myself and others: Females in the West are the luckiest human beings on the planet, thanks to their female ancestors. Who fought tooth and nail to put these young ones on top of the heap. Why do they not thank those who came before, are they that thankless and entitled? Why now in the best of times that they have, do they not fight for their less fortunate sisters around the world ?

I’d like an a/c office gubmint job at 37.5 hrs/wk, 30 sick days and 6 weeks holidays where the most dangerous thing is papercuts.

Hurting the poor :’ Newsflash ** In the province of Ontario many rules , laws and statutes are strictly enforced exclusively – Exclusively on white het males … while homeless and or on government assistance. 24/7/365

  • Just fire the broads who didn’t show up for work. It can be a day without them forever.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

I read at least one instance of that.
