Burger-flipping robot replaces humans on first day at work

A burger-flipping robot has just completed its first day on the job at a restaurant in California, replacing humans at the grill.

Flippy has mastered the art of cooking the perfect burger and has just started work at CaliBurger, a fast-food chain.

Some people are about to find out just how useless they really are.

    • A whole lot in fact, it doesn’t end at menial labour.

      • Gary

All of those illegals and cheap labour that claim that nobody will work in the fields to pick the crops will also find out that a machine can replace them because the same people that built the Mars rover can easily design a harvesting system .
You just change the way the plants are put in the fields where you don’t have to bend over and pick the items. No food breaks, not heat wave slow downs or strikes.

Actually there was an article on bcf in january about how a company that makes fruit picking robots had suddenly seen orders skyrocket since trump won.

In the 1960’s Ferruccio Lamborghini wanted to improve the Olive business in California buy his new design for a harvesting tractor to do the job that the other tractors couldn’t because to their height and bulk.
His R485 had a few issues for Parts supplies and dealers but these illegals and Mexicans must be pretty stupid to think that the USA can’t still produce geniuses to make machines or change farming to put them out of work.
The democrats and leftist have the same Mind Sets as the people that mocked the Automobile ( 1910) and TV (1928) . How sad that the Party of JFK that put humans on the Moon and brought them back safely is now the Party of myopic defeatists.

I wonder if some people make the connections between the number of horses there used to be at the dawn of the last century and the number of people there are now.
The one worlders have wanted depopulation for a long time now.
This is how they start doing it.

This should also reduce workers compensation insurance costs by keeping employees a safe distance from the griddle.

The $15 an hour minimum wage movement is getting results.

    • Gary

When I was 17 and getting $1.00 an hour while paying my way through high school I got the impression that Minimum wage was the punishment for those that made the choice to remain ignorant in life.

      • Editor

I bet you that impression has served you well over the years.

Don’t you just feel all warm and fuzzy about the Liberal’s increasing immigration into Canada most trying to fill low skilled jobs if they even desire to work full time.

The ludites will try to smashing saying it oppresses the masses and their demands for $15.00 an hour.

The added benefit will be that it won’t spit in your food because it doesn’t like the color of your skin.
