The Latest Khizr Khan-troversy: Abuse of Power, Hoax, or Something Else?

Khizr Khan, who energized the Democratic National Convention this past summer with the story of his son (an American soldier killed in Iraq) and attacks on Donald Trump, is back in the news again.

Earlier, some reports emerged that a speaking appearance than Khan had scheduled for Tuesday in Toronto had been canceled after he claimed that he would not be able to be at the event because he had been told his “traveling privileges” were “under review.”

But the State Department, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the Transportation Security Administration have all pushed back on the story, raising the question of whether this is in fact an outrageous violation of an American citizen’s right to travel, or a deliberate hoax, or perhaps something else entirely.

Of course the CBC and the rest of the usual suspects were all over Khan’s dubious claim…

Just waiting for ‘ole Khizr to denounce Jew banning Muslim states.

    What a Dick.

    • As if!

That’ll probably happen the same day Richard Simmons wins the WWE Championship Belt.

Simmons can beat up polar bears too, LK!

Loose stool, ingestion of putrid goat meat , causes ‘ole Khizr to muddy the conversation on his Constitutional Rights…….

  • No Muslim can be trusted.

All Muslims are brainwashed into believing they are suppose to decieve non-Muslims.

    • His story is BS.

Yes. A presidential order can’t stop someone from leaving the country, contrasted with another nation not letting someone in.

Maybe he forgot to get work visa in Canada.

I wouldn’t trust this two bit crook as far as I could throw him. All the USA means to him is enjoying a priveledge status and money. It must have really stuck in that old buzzards craw knowing his son would have to fight against Islamists just to further his own nefarious ambitions. Put your cards on the table Khan (Con) if your so sure your Constitutional Rights you are so proud of are being abused.

Unless he’s accused of committing a serious crime (and a judge grabbed his passport) this is utterly made up.
We HAVE NO passport exit controls.
Here at the border-crossing with Mexico there is an unmanned pedestrian turnstile and once you walk through it you are out of the country, no documentation or approval required.
    This is a hoax.

His son died in a war that Hillary supported. Plus , the CBC refused to report that Chretien had canada in the iraq war as support by our navy.
The Liberals ran on claiming that they weren’t in Bush’s war, but I still remember the Question Period where Liberals were asked if the pow’s caught in the Gulf would be handed over to the US navy .
Amazing how the CBC would deny what actually happened in the House to prove out navy was in the War while there was also a special Medal made to show that our sailors severed in the War.
The NDP also wanted to muslims votes and denied out Navy was in the Gulf. This is why I have no doubt that the Police and CBC are hiding the rape crimes by muslims on top of the honour killing.

Khan is a lawyer specializing in immigration.

And he throws out this vague horseshit that no one can make sense of, as if he’s confused over the details?

I believe he worked for the company that did Hillary Clinton’s tax returns, hers or her notorious foundation.

    I’m going with “something else”.
