A Handy Primer for Deluded Warmists

We all have them, friends who believe the planet is on a CO2-fuelled collision course with a catastrophe that can only be averted by directing large sums to rent-seeking wind farmers and the like. If you know someone like that, here’s a simple, handy guide to the climate scam

  • Watchman

“‘One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with the environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole,’ said Edenhofer, who co-chaired the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change working group on Mitigation of Climate Change from 2008 to 2015.
So what is the goal of environmental policy?
‘We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy,’ said Edenhofer.”

There you have it: it’s all about wealth redistribution, which is why mitigation as temperatures rise (if they will do so) is not considered as a solution to Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming (CAGW): mitigation requires some proof of places actually being adversely affected instead of money just being allocated to avoid a future problem, somewhere.

    • It is a scam from start to finish.

At least pet rocks were funny and you knew going in that what you were paying for was meant to be a joke.

$5 in 1975 would be around $26 today, in 2017. Still pretty cheap, but not real cheap

Hard to argue against a secular religion – but we must. The delusion is strong.
