Time to Put an End to Montenegro’s Bid to Join NATO

Does a country involved in financing Islamic terrorism deserve to be invited to join the world’s biggest military alliance, and receive all the perks that come with it? Many may argue this is the case with the small Balkan state of Montenegro, whose NATO membership will soon be taken up for consideration by the U.S. Senate.

NATO is a mess. Time for the Excited States, Canerduh, Oz and the Kiwis to band together.

And once again I ask, what part of the Atlantic does this country reside upon?

Having worked in hotels and restaurants for over twenty years before I went back to school that is extremely funny to me.

By the way, if you are ever in Winnipeg, in my opinion, the best pizza is the Slavo Nuova at Nicolino’s on Pembina Highway.
Slavo was an Eastern European immigrant who conjured up the best slice ever while he worked there twenty years ago.
Don’t know where he is now but the recipe remains.

The alliance has not made sense since the fall of the Berlin wall.

I was disappointed that Trump supported NATO as it is, other than requiring the other members to carry their load, during his address to congress. That was the only negative thing I found.

The Western alliance needs to be rebuilt to meet the challenges of our time. A good starting point would be Trump’s relationship with Netanyahu. After all, Israel has nukes and some of the most advanced military technology, sort of like Britain during World War Two. Those willing to accept Israel as a full partner would be welcome to join in (Australia, for example, and Holland under Wilders). The rest can walk.
