U.N. Human Rights Council — Get Out of the Quicksand or Drown

The Trump administration should withdraw the U.S. from the Council.

The U.N. “Human Rights” Council starts its main annual session on Monday in Geneva with elected members and human-rights aficionados such as Saudi Arabia, China, and Qatar settling into their seats. The question hanging over the head of President Trump is whether his administration will take its place beside these other states and legitimize the most anti-Israel, twisted bastion of moral relativism in the U.N. system.

Israel is still part of the UN.
Thy hypocrisy is strong with this one.

Israel hasn’t asked USA to leave the UN

That bit of prime real estate on the East River is ripe for redevelopment.

    • Perfectly good landfill going to waste in that wretched building.

    • Norman_In_New_York

The Human Rights Council is in Geneva and is unaffected by any alterations in New York.

I was thinking that if the US quit the UN, it’d not be subject to UNHRC and the UN would have to find a new HQ.

Her is a thought, we, (the US)…,IF… we stay in the UN,should be in every branch and department of the UN. Just, to be a counter weight. To remind them that we, (the US), are paying for this zoo every chance we get and veto” the stupid” every chance we get. Also, to be not shy on calling out “the stupid” wherever and whenever we in counter it. It really could be a lot of fun if done correctly and why not, they will and do hate us anyway. I just say go for it…..

      Sounds like fun.

    thank’s but no, thank’s.
If the US leaves any UN body then only if it’s the right thing to do.
i can imagine the whineing of the “neutral, well minded, goodys”
lamenting how much the USA suffers for Israel and the Jews.

  • A Hamilton Guy

Get out ,get out, get out. Our brain dead think it`s the cat`s ass, but it`s just the manure pile.

    • Alain

I assume you are talking about the whole UN and with that I agree.

  • Slickfoot

The UN is at least 40 years past it’s ‘best by’ date, it should be completely dismantled and something much smaller established in it’s place, somewhere else… Belgium perhaps, after the EU falls there’s going to be a bunch of empty office space available.
