The Independent: Modest wear is making a groundbreaking appearance in contemporary fashion – and it’s about time

“Modest wear”. New euphamism? As opposed to “infidel slut wear”, I suppose. The comments are interesting. There’s a very long-winded chap who can’t figure out why the British aren’t more accommodating to the poor innocent Muslims they callously tricked into enriching them (as is my understanding).

As the females of the left choose to submit to Allah, conservative babes will come our of this with a distinct advantage. Except in Europe, that is.

  • Tooth&Claw

Modest wear in Islam = cloth coffin for females. Hides the bruising, contains the body odor. Utterly stifling.

    • Jean Sha

      slave garments

    • Justin St.Denis

One WISHES it “contained” body odour. Ever sit beside one of those fucking tents on the subway in summer?

      • Tooth&Claw

Ok. Consider it poetic license if not accurate.

Ladies in these licentious wear will instigate a strong lascivious response in their hapless males….Shame on them, wanton vixens …. Please, please, please ladies refrain from exposing your hair I beseech thee .,… Inch’ Allah !
& ladies quite a few you should be masking your faces, seriously !

    • Clausewitz

Nothing more than a political shroud worn by Women who mistakenly believe they are better than their Western counter parts, or as I like to call it, clothes for women who don’t want to be murdered by Muslim men.

    • tom_billesley

If “All the perfumes of Arabia” would not sweeten the little hand of Lady Macbeth and mask the smell of blood, what chance have they with a foetid burka wearer?

  • canminuteman

It’s pretty easy to dress modestly without putting a garbage bag on your head.

    • Martin B

Well yeah. But dressing modestly doesn’t say “Don’t rape me I’m the property of a Muslim man” the way a head bag does.

  • ontario john

If your a western feminist, you have to wear a bag over your head and submit to sharia law. At least that is what the feminist Toronto Star demands.

  • The Deplorable Rosenmops

They should just buy burlap sacks or garbage bags in the houseware section of the store.

    • mobuyus

      I bow to your pragmatism.

I can’t wait for all the glowing articles about fashionable FGM.

    • Yusuf_al_Kafir

      Because clitorises are soooooo cumbersome.
      Am I right, ladies?!

      I’ll show myself out now……

    • Will Quest

& those stoning events, they’re to die for…….

I’m so sick of seeing hijabs everywhere.
(And I’m not even speaking of my Scarborough neighbourhood. ugh….)
Commercial breaks during the 2017 NBA All Star Game often featured commercials from both Nike and Adidas that included hijab-wearers.
(I’d love to see a Sikh or Hindu featured, but those folk don’t achieve a daily body count on behalf of their religions. It’s like a teacher rewarding a disruptive child who’s forever interrupting the rest of the class.)

Some of the comments at this YouTube video showcasing a hijabi-centered fashion collection are, frankly, just great…..

‘Medieval oppression never looked so glittery. I think I saw an ankle though. Shouldn’t that model be drug out back and whipped with a hose?’

    Hahahahahahahaha!………

They are piling stones in response to this whore-wear in many islamic states….

One of the brands they quote, Aab, was mentioned in a similar article a few months ago in the Daily Mail. They’re sure getting a lot of free publicity from this modesty thing.

I think all this talk about a new trend in modest wear is just a way for muslims to take credit for something they didn’t do and doesn’t even exist. Is every woman who wears long sleeves going to be accused of following the new modest trend in fashion started by muslim women?

Last New Year’s Eve, we joined a group of friends for dinner at a favorite rock’n’roll dining facility in Barrie called STICKY FINGERS. By the time we were ready to leave, I had figured out that my wife was the hottest woman in the whole place. I was also tired of other men ogling her. Truth be told, she did dress very sexily for the occasion (fishnet hosiery, Sade-like little black dress and loooooong black gloves, heels, the full nine yards). She looked spectacular. As we left, I told her what I had witnessed re her appearance. “I know,” she said bluntly. “Isn’t it great? Now, pick me up and carry me to the car, lucky boy. Mama has plans for you tonight……”

I don’t think this Aab shit will be hanging in our closets anytime soon. 😉

A couple of fellows, an old guy and a very much younger one were looking about the store somewhat bewildered.
The older guy asked the younger, what are you looking for? The man answer, my wife. The older guy said, well so am, I’m looking for mine.
The older guy asked what does your wife look like? Answer, young, blond, well dressed, big jugs. The young man then asked to older guy what his wife looked like and his answer was, who cares, let’s look for yours.

        • Justin St.Denis

          ROFL. 😉

A couple of the mannequins look like they have broken noses. Maybe “lightly beaten” by their husbands.

    • Justin St.Denis

Or more likely simply raped. Raping wives is a favourite thing for those goatfuckers.

      • Editor

They’ve covered their ass on that one. Rape is defined in islam, according to a preeminent Indonesian islamic scholar as “forced sexual intercourse outside of marriage.” So if the woman is your wife, there cannot technically be rape. And The Star had a relativist, almost apologetic article about sharia yesterday. Go figure.

  • bargogx1

“Modest wear”, what a nice little euphemism. This is basically a Trojan Horse.
