Father of UK woman fighting IS praises her ‘passion’

The father of a woman fighting in Syria says he is “worried about her beyond belief” but will not ask her to change who she is.

Kimberley Taylor, from Blackburn, is the first known British woman to travel to Syria to join the fight against so-called Islamic State.

Philip Taylor, a former teacher, told the BBC of his pride in his daughter.

The 57-year-old said: “People will wonder what sort of person does that, and what the parents think about it”.

Its not something I would ever do but I have some respect for someone like her who travels to Syria to fight against ISIS even though it is a futile fight.

Especially since their leftist supporters of isis number in the millions in the west.

That is crazy. Boots on the ground are ineffective and foolish.

She would be better off to use her life savings to pay some poor general in a breakaway former soviet satellite to launch his nukes against Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. Now that would be a good investment that gets results….

Saudi Arabia, and I would contribute to that noble cause.
