Why Trump Will Revise and Reissue Travel Ban

“The new order is going to be very much tailored to what I consider to be a very bad decision,” he said. “But we can tailor the order to that decision and get just about everything and in some ways more.”

Why would anyone think a US court would have jurisdiction over a president’s actions intended to protect the country from foreign enemies? If it did, any corrupt federal judge, at any time, could usher in an unstoppable foreign invasion.

No court would have any jurisdiction supported by the constitution itself. There may be a treaty giving the courts jurisdiction, which would be constitutional as long as the treaty exists. If that is the case, it’s time to dissolve any such treaty.

“The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behavior, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.”

Who are they kidding? The judge’s decision had nothing to do with the law, but their own personal political preferences. These judges will just make shit up to get what they want. They are out of control and there needs to be a mechanism to remove them when they overstep their authority and jurisdiction.

I would find it amusing if this one was beyond the reach of the courts and turned out to be far more sweeping than the first one.
“Don’t like the first one and undermine it? F.U., here’s one far ‘worse’ that you can’t”.

  • Three of the four countries listed in the ban are already on the terrorism sponsorship list. I have no doubt that the average nay-sayer has no knowledge or that nor does he or she wish to.
