Meryl Streep stars In Clueless

Seriously Meryl? Stick to acting.

Think of all the poor, poor multimillionaires in that room.

    • Nothing more disgusting than the top .0001% whining.

  • Ed

This is unfolding better than any of us could have hoped.

  • Blacksmith

You brought it on yourself, and still you are too steeped in your own ignorance to see it. It makes me laugh.

  • Elitist and victimized, as always.

  • Spatchcocked

My favourite Hollywood moron is Sean Penn….his public expressions of political opinion put the deeply stupid Meryl Streep in the shade.

But Cher accomplishes the same in under 140 characters on Twitter! And almost always IN ALL CAPS!

  • Spatchcocked

Truman Capote. “That Meryl Streep….those eyes and that face….gah! She looks like a chicken.”

    A birdbrain for sure.

There have always been people who would rather be hated than ignored. We call them psychopaths.

I think there might be something to that. Celebrities are, by their very nature, attention whores. Good attention, bad attention, it all provides the same endorphin rush.

      • J. C.

Yeah, if they couldn’t be in movies they’d probably resort to pissing on people’s carpets… 😉

  • GrimmCreeper

Seems we can add whiny in describing the self-important pretenders.

Meanwhile Fiat-Chrysler has announced billions of dollars in upgrades at factories in the U.S. This follows other auto makers announcing that they are hurrying back to the states. But what do rich Hollywood actors care about working people. They are too busy kissing up to China to make more money. Besides, this is the same crowd that thinks Scientology is a real religion.

What a drama queen. I hope they had a fainting couch handy.

Trump dismissed her as “overrated” and a “Hillary flunkie.”

  • Mrs. Streep is right. The press and Hollywood ARE vilified and she is part of the reason why.

  • The first and last time I watched Meryl Streep in a movie was in “Silkwood” (1983). Incredible acting abilities, especially when she showed everybody her tits!
