so what, thats sports, congrats to the victor, ronda has delivered enough greatnes
to female MMA and deserves a lot respect for makeing female martial arts popular.
(i dont like girls fighting eachother but it is not about me.)

    • Her heart was not in this, still she got a big payday.

      • vwVwwVwv

if it wuld have been not for her we wuldent think about it at all.
most people dont know what weight category they fight or
who are the chamions in other categorys.
she is the superstar and so she
        gets a payday.

to come back is hard in this sports, evan as judoca she used to
loos a fight, this is not judo and getting beaten is
        in MMA an other thing.

you must get used that other girls train to and train hard to win.
ronda has an special aura but aura is not a garantee for wining.

      • That’s probably why she did.

        A lot of hype.

    • mobuyus

I’d rather see a hair brush and pillow fight between two nice looking women in bra and panties.

      • vwVwwVwv

i dont think that you wuld have the slightest chance against one of them.
no insult but profesional sport is hard and i fought randoris with
strong amateure girls, they are tuff and you wuld
not go full force, what will let you lose.

i have nothing against blody noses, the long term injuries and the
hormonal disturbances let me bother, they are still woman
        after the competition.

        • FactsWillOut

Pretty much every man can beat a woman of equal weight to him, no matter what training. Women are about 1/2 as strong as men.

          • vwVwwVwv

            have you?

          • vwVwwVwv

you are wrong on this, pretty much every trained man can beat a
trained woman, if she is fit and you an average guy you will
probably lose to each professional female fighter.
professional sport is hard, i have
            experianced it, they can
            be diehards.
professional fighting woman train with trained man, belive me
if you waight as much as ronda and without mma
skills you wuld have a hard time.

strikeing a woman hard is a thing we do not like so much,
what gives her an plus and we dont know where to strike them.
for me this girls look good, i had some judo fights with
woman prepareing for competition, not in
my dream i wuld dear to strike one.

they invented guns for a reason

hand to hand combat is for dead people

          • FactsWillOut

I can kill an unarmed man with my hands.
An armed man, not so much. Thank live in canada, where only dangerous criminals carry guns. I feel so much safer./sarc

          • WalterBannon

I can probably kill a (small) cougar or a wolf with my hands, maybe 50/50, why take a chance when I can be sure of it with a gun

          • FactsWillOut

            Agreed.

            30-30 beats 50/50 any day.

          • vwVwwVwv

i will not discusse it with you walter,
            this is a religiouse question
            which shuld not stend
            between us. 😉

        • mobuyus

I don’t fight girls. I’ve been surrounded by them most of my life.

          • vwVwwVwv

            Luky You
            Happy new Year. 😉

          • mobuyus

Happy New Year to you vwVwwVww.

      • FactsWillOut

        agreed.

  • Editor

Over a year off and no apparent improvement in her boxing skills. One does wonder if she actually planned a long term return to MMA or just a last ditch cash grab.

    • I suspect cash grab.

      • FactsWillOut

Whatever cash she earned, she deserved. Free market, yadda yadda yadda…

        • Editor

Agreed. Internet says $3 million purse. Decent retirement fund.

  • Hard Little Machine

Bad training and management. Ronda never does well against aggressive strikers and she’s not a striker herself. She relies on grappling and a powerful arm bar. Her trainer should have adjusted her game away from judo and more to muy thai

    • Editor

Agreed. She pretty much ran into Nunes’ punches. No feeling out, no take-down feints. Weird game plan indeed.

  • ntt1

she will collect 3 million then after healing up she will be offered no end of interesting jobs. she will be ok if she avoids depression.

But.. but…but about 18 months ago or so all the sports journalists said she was unbeatable.
The reporters said she would keep the title for years and that the UFC would have to change the rules and allow women to fight men.

The sports journalists said so! They know what their talking about — don’t they?

    • G

      Oh well,
I guess hollywierd and “news media” beta-males will have to find a new tough girl to gush over and fantasize about .
