Trump supporters clash with protesters at Toronto rally

Donald Trump’s supporters — one toting a “Make Canada Great Again” sign — faced off against anti-Trump protesters in downtown Toronto Saturday.

A rally against the U.S. president-elect had gathered around 300 protesters in Nathan Phillips Square when a smaller contingent of Trump supporters appeared on the outskirts of the public square, attracting the attention of several anti-Trump demonstrators.

At least one man was arrested after two scuffles in the ensuing chaos. Police officers on bikes were seen pinning a man down before taking him into custody.

Toronto’s professional protester class was out in force.
