‘Not One Day Goes By’ Without Christian Statues Destroyed in Just One Town

Police have said the wave of attacks to destroy Christian statues in Dülmen could have been motivated by religious ideology.

Local newspaper the Westfälischen Nachrichten reports that “not a day goes by” without attacks on religious statues in the town of less than 50,000 people, and the immediate surrounding area. It is estimated that damage done to the works is in the region of six figures.
