From Mirror here:
The current French ambassador to the United States has tweeted that the “world is collapsing before our eyes” as Donald Trump looks set to become US President.
Gerard Araud, who is the serving ambassador, tweeting his remarks as forecasters predict the Republican billionaire will defeat Hillary Clinton.
The 63-year-old said: “After Brexit and this election, everything is now possible. A world is collapsing before our eyes. Dizziness.”
The experienced diplomat would need to work with Trump and his team if the Republican becomes President, making his remarks all the more astonishing. He later deleted the tweet.
Reality check: No, sir. Your world is collapsing. Go on a six-week vacation and let the rest of us sort the rubble.
Not a hoax. One problem that plagues news gathering just now is that so much of the progressive shock over the Trump victory is beyond parody, travesty, or hoax.
I didn’t think it would happen myself, on the theory that enough hillbilly heroin could be given out to make up for idleness and enough ballot boxes stuffed via the cemetery or the passport forger’s office to deliver the United States—a pretty big prize—to the progressive globalists. Then it remained only to reduce the traditional population of every race creed, and colour, to a much lower status in life. Amid sneers about the “basket of deplorables” they are.
But will the natives seize this moment to disempower progressivism or just go back to their homes, jobs, work, faith, and families, while the progressives plot relentlessly for 2020?
I’d love to be wrong again, but we’ll see.

US College kids need help coping with US election Decades ago, their age cohort won World War II but they can’t cope with the results of a free, constitutional election? Maybe most universities should close down and be reinvented as centres of learning, not blubbering and bawling.
