Poll: One third of French think Marine Le Pen would save country

FRONT National leader Marine le Pen is increasingly being considered to be the chosen political chief able to return France to a “safe haven” and rid the country of immigrants illegal alien invaders, according to a new survey.

The shock poll found 35 per cent are worried the migration crisis would tear the country apart.

And nearly one in three French people (31 per cent) think Mrs Le Pen’s hardline stance on radical Islam would help make France a “safer place” and put an end to the war on terror.

The EU refugee crisis was a particularly thorny issue among far-right sympathisers: 72 per cent of those questioned said immigration was France’s biggest problem, and not terrorism.
