Even progressive media in California don’t want Planned Parenthood’s “no-undercover journalism” legislation – for now

Catching up here, from Steven Ertelt at LifeNews

New emails show officials in the office of California Attorney General Kamala Harris teamed up with the Planned Parenthood abortion business to target David Daleiden, the pro-life advocate who filmed undercover videos exposing the abortion giant selling aborted baby parts.

Since Harris took that video footage from Daleiden’s home, Planned Parenthood has been pushing legislation in the California legislature to prohibit anyone from engaging in uncdercover journalism — a bill so bad even liberal California media outlets oppose it. More.

Reality check: One wonders how long the liberal media outlets will oppose it. Once they are fully comfortable in their role as PR for progressive government, such legislation will prove an enormous advantage.

It will both account for why the government PR media can’t do real investigations of government cronies and enable the persecution of anyone who actually does them. That will be a hard temptation for them to refuse.
