Pakistan declares schizophrenia is not a mental illness

A mentally ill man in Pakistan is set to be executed in a sentencing deemed “appalling” by human rights experts.

Pakistan’s Supreme Court has since dismissed an appeal by Mr Ali’s lawyers, commenting that schizophrenia is “not a mental disorder”.

I find this understandable… I mean for Pakistan.

Here in the west particularly Canada we have declared the transgendered not to be a mental illness. For example in Ontario Kathleen Wynne’s sex education curriculum states that there are 6 genders in order to keep up with the latest transgendered fad. Meanwhile transgendered protesters are declaring that “gender is over” meaning that there is no such thing as gender. The Pakistani’s are psychopaths while western liberals and social justice warriors are clearly insane.

It’s because in pakistan the difference between those with it and those without it is trivial. Throw a koran in the room and any difference disappears.

I’ve always taken the position that if someone is so fucked up in the head that they can’t help but kill, then that’s all the more reason to kill them, or at least lock them up in durance vile for the rest of their lives, with no chance at parole.

…at any rate, giving the guy a pardon is insane.

It has always amazed me that permanent ‘diminished responsibility’ is frequently used by defence counsel as a reason for a lighter sentence. If you can’t understand that must behave yourself, then you should be locked away for a longer time, not a shorter time, as you are more likely to continue that behaviour when released. Longer sentences are not supposed to be just a deterrent for changing someone’s behaviour (both the guilty person and anyone contemplating similar actions), but are meant to protect society from element seeking to damage this society by isolating the guilty.

Obamacare more or less says the same thing.

Wasn’t it R.D. Lang who said something like schizophrenia is a perfectly logical response to an insane situation?

Well, if islam is not a mental disorder schizophrenia certainly isn’t.

A stout tree in the back yard, a chain, two padlocks and a leg shackle is the usual muslim prescription for a djinn infestation.

  • Is that so?

If anyone knows science and medicine, it’s the country that allows inbreeding.
