Residents of picturesque Devon village vent fury at ‘bizarre’ decision to send 70 “young” Jungle migrants there

As many as 70 unaccompanied migrant children are being sent to an isolated village.

Locals in Great Torrington, which has a population of less than 6,000, are said to be concerned about the influx of youngsters from the Jungle camp.

The group will be taken to a temporary Home Office ‘respite facility’ near the village, 14 miles south of Barnstaple.

The political class… bound and determined to wipe you out.
