Ontario’s corrupt political class whore themselves out to Islamists

October is now Islamic Heritage Month in Ontario

What began as an NDP private members’ bill has been unanimously passed by the legislature.

This is wonderful news! I feel so enriched already. To think that on October 7th Catholics celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Victory marking the decisive victory of the combined Christian fleet in 1571 at the Battle of Lepanto, defeating the Ottoman (Muslim) fleet off western Greece. Think of the interfaith activities, perhaps historical re-enactments that can be held. This is just amazing. Maybe the different ethnic communities that make up our wonderful mosaic can all collaborate. The Hindus certainly have a history of interfaith dialogue with Islam, let alone Orthodox Christians. I think we may need and extra month to celebrate so many achievements. Maybe all this should start in September. After all, who can forget the Battle of Vienna?

That reminded me that we don’t hear anything about Ontario’s Jewish Heritage month which is in May.

Despite the considerable contributions by Jews to life in Ontario for at least 200 years the only efforts made by the official community to commemorate their successes and their legacies is to offer up the personal stories of the far more recent Holocaust survivors. While the near extinction of European Jewry was the most horrendous event of our time, it does not define the Jewish people.

If the history of Ontario’s Jews can be obliterated in such cavalier fashion, I can only wonder how officialdom will “spin” Ontario’s Muslim heritage. Does Ontario have a Muslim heritage?

I expect daily feature articles in the Toronto Star (and Crescent) – that bow tie wearing a$$hole John A Honderich was pictured in the print edition of today’s paper extending a hearty Toronto Star welcome to the representative of his favorite religion – the visiting Ahmadiyya Mo Caliph.

    • Yes Ontario does have a Muslim heritage, we have arrested a number of Muslim terrorists.

      “Ontario’s Jews can be obliterated”

Growing up in the 50’s and sixties in Southern Ontario I never classified many of my acquaintances as anything other than Canadian, or foreigner. The Italians would sometimes get called names (probably from TV and movies), and if it was someone you did not like you might call them a D.P. All this heritage celebration of you ancestors on other continents, from time immemorial started with Trudow 1, and it has been downhill ever since. As a result I had friends whose parents were from all over that I never knew anything of their religion or former nationality. This included Jews as I later discovered.

I hear what you’re saying and I grew up in a similar environment but in Northern Ontario which was a microcosm of multi-ethnicity because the mining towns of the north offered employment opportunities during the Dirty 30s and during the war years. Those of us who grew up in the 50s were the beneficiaries of the need to develop effective communications (many of the miners came from a variety of eastern European countries) to effect mine safety. The “elites” — the mine managers, geologists and engineers — sat on the school boards and hired the teachers. Even though our little town was 400 miles straight north from Toronto, we had as good an education as those in Toronto and other southern towns and cities.

However, Trudeau I threw a monkey wrench into our little Canadian melting pot which was developing organically without any government help. The rhetoric of multi-culturalism fell on fertile ears as it fed into our innate anti-Americanism. “Vertical mosaic” sounded so sophisticated, eh?

So here we are, 40+ years on this insane, divisive path, and I for one, wonder how we can turn back the clock. Well, you can’t.

There’s an old saying: when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. The present situation is an opportunity to make lemonade. If we must have “heritage days”, let’s use those days/weeks/months to teach what they don’t teach in school. I think there should be rules regarding heritage days. Without rules or guidelines heritage days are meaningless, like ‘participation” medals and should not be funded with taxpayer $$$. Of course, developing a set of rules or guidelines can be contentious in itself. Oh, how I despite Trudeau I for what he did to us. Vive the Melting Pot. Screw the mosaic!

” Even though our little town was 400 miles straight north from Toronto”

Little did I know when I took a summer job in Schumacher in 2nd year university that that would be the furthest south that I would ever work in again.

          • Waffle

Schumacher, the home of the McIntyre Mine and Frank Mahovlich. Those little mining towns were famous for their exports — whores and hockey players. Dickie Duff was my neighbour. Ironically, it was our gold that feathered the cuckoo’s nests of Queens Park and we got precious little in return.

    “Allah Akbar”, anybody?

Have these people lost their heads, in pandering for votes?

    • H

No, they’re just pragmatists who have no allegiance to anything or anyone but themselves. Muslims will be the majority in Ontario and Canada, in a few decades, so their actions are simply a recognition of this inevitability.

      • occupant 9

Mohammedans will not be the majority here if we decide that we don’t want to destroy Canada after all.

In any case, their invitations are treasonous for Mohammedans do not, by their daily prayers, have any idea but conquest over us.

        • shasta

“Mohammedans will not be the majority here if we decide that we don’t want to destroy Canada after all.”

That would take a lot more than wish’n & hope’n, and I haven’t noticed any country succeed in the last few hundred years.

    • john700

Likely, the politicians’ calculation is that Ontario’s Muslim population has reached critical mass. From now on, no law will be adopted without thinking about how they might react to it.

    • Will Quest

Allahu Akbar- eh ……… pure Canadiana !

  • ontario john

Why no Christian Heritage Month? Since it was primarily Christians that created and developed this province. And its Christians that are being persecuted by islam all over the world.

    • Liberal Progressive

      That’s racist!

  • mobuyus

I smell the stinky hooves of islamics behind this. We will certainly not be celebrating this surrender by useful idiots.

  • ontario john

Maybe as part of the celebrations they can introduce sharia law.

  • Yusuf_al_Kafir

Click on this tweet by Andrea Horwath and see that there is not one comment, as of 6:29 PM Eastern, that is in support of this absolute, ridiculous bullshit……

The vote was unanimous? Fuck our politicians- fuck every last one!!!
I, 38 years old, hope to live long enough to see all of these Islamist-enablers get their heads sawed of with a small, dull knife in public squares across this once-great country.

Isn’t this an insult to Islam?

If it is really Islamic Heritage Month, shouldn’t they be basing it on the Muslim calendar.

You don’t want to offend these people, otherwise who knows what they might do!

      • occupant 9

Gosh, I do hope it is an insult to Islam.

      • john700

Good idea! Ontario should immediately adopt the Muslim calendar.

  • dance…dancetotheradio

    Coincidentally, Hallowe’en is in October.

  • k2

Not to worry – I’m sure that when all non-muslims are eradicated from Ontario, the (muslim) legislature will pick a month to be Infidel Remembrance Month, in recognition of all the non-muslim contributions to Ontario’s heritage.

    • occupant 9

Sure, just like the Arabians celebrate the ethnic cleansing of Jews from the Arabian peninsula by the Big Mo, every year. It’s called Ramadan.

  • ismiselemeas

Well, apart from providing Joseph Al-Quaeda with some of the best humour sources on Twitter and Blazingcatfur with an unlimited pool of idiocy the pickings are fairly slim, in fairness.

  • DMB

They should have held Islamic Heritage Month during the same time as Toronto’s Pride Week. Think of how enriching it would be!

It’s good to know that there’s not a single politician in our Legislature who will not sell us out.

Isn’t a photo of muppets from the Dark Crystal?

  • Raymond Hietapakka

Should I go out an kill a dog in celebration?

  • ontario john

Perhaps we can follow up in November with Nazi Appreciation Month.

    • andycanuck

Only after Moslems become15-20% of the electorate; then I’m sure that will happen.

  • bargogx1

Wow, a whole month in honour of a totalitarian ideology. However will we celebrate Islam’s special contributions to the world during its special month? Ban free speech for a month? Live by sharia law for a month? Have a special bash the Christians/Jews/Hindus/Buddhists day?

    • Exile1981

Don’t worry they have lots of islamic events scheduled for the month. ..
Goat sex, FGM, honor killings, stoning of women, pedophillia, beheading of christians etc
