Obama implies he’ll be more vocal about issues after he leaves office

“Having had this office has given me this incredible perch from which to see how the world works. The power of the office is unique and it is a humbling privilege,” Obama said. “With that power, however, also comes a whole host of institutional constraints. There are things I cannot say. There are things that…”

France’s New Sharia Police

The Council of State, the highest administrative court in France, decided that, to allow freedom of religion, the burkini must not be banned. At first the ruling looked sound: why should people not be able to wear what they wish when they wish? What is not visible, however, is that the harm comes later.

If someone still does not realize that the Islamic dress code is the Trojan horse of Islamist jihad, he will learn it fast.

The Racial Confidence Gap in Police Performance

Only about a third of blacks but roughly three-quarters of whites say police in their communities do an excellent or good job in using the appropriate force on suspects, treating all racial and ethnic minorities equally and holding officers accountable when misconduct occurs. Roughly half of all blacks say local police do an excellent or good job combating crime – a view held by about eight-in-ten whites.

If Clinton emails were a ‘mistake’ why is everyone ‘pleading the 5th?’

Chaffetz argued that the American people are interested in the ongoing probe of Clinton’s mishandling of classified information because “they’re worried Lady Justice has a little different blindfold when dealing with the Clintons.”

“If this was just a mistake,” Chaffetz said, referring to the email controversy, “why is everyone pleading the Fifth [Amendment] and getting immunity deals?”

Hillary: ‘We have laws in our country’ and Trump puts his ‘personal business interests’ ahead of the nation’s

This week, Newsweek accused a company controlled by Donald Trump of either doing, or attempting to do, business in Fidel Castro’s communist Cuba. The story is still shaking out and, so far, Trump’s campaign has not commented. I won’t sugar coat it. If it’s true, it’s going to be a problem for the Donald.

However, the fact that Hillary Clinton has decided to pounce on the story is absolutely laughable. Check out this clip, where she accuses Donald Trump of being a scofflaw who puts his private financial concerns ahead of the nation’s welfare.

Teacher: “Kids Wearing Trump Gear Are Racist”

Veronica Welsh, a teacher at Smithtown High School, is facing significant backlash after she called students who support Donald Trump racist.

“This week is Spirit Week at Smithtown HS West,” she wrote on her personal Facebook page. “It’s easy to spot which students are racist by the Trump gear they’re sporting for USA Day.”

Cher: ‘I’m traumatised by Trump’

“He’s amazing, he tells something and then you go back and see what he’s said and it seems like the truth both times, he’s so terrific at lying. I’ve never seen anyone so good, it’s amazing. I could go on and on on this subject forever because I’m so traumatised by him. I am truly traumatised by him.”

BC salmon farmers sue activist after trespassing and harassment

I’m glad to see Marine Harvest Canada push back with legal action. Far too often, our resource industries allow activists and protesters to participate in illegal trespassing, harassment and activism on their property without pushback or ramifications.

Ruth Ginsburg Threatens To “Resign From SCOTUS” If Trump Is Elected President

“There’s no need to beat around the bush, so I’m just going to go ahead and say it – I will resign my position as a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States if that happens. I cannot imagine performing my duties under the constant pressure of waking up in the morning and having to go to work knowing that every ruling we as an institution make will be viewed through the prism of a Trump presidency. I can tolerate this charade of a presidential campaign, but I could not live with him as president,” she said.

FBI Director Comey Warns of Post-ISIS Terrorist “Diaspora”

In a statement before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs on September 27, FBI Director James B Comey warned that though ISIS will be defeated in Syria in Iraq, “There will be a terrorist diaspora sometime in the next two to five years” in which terrorists will “try to come to western Europe and” the United States to “kill innocent people.”
