The Next President Unbound

Part of the frenzy over 2016 as a make-or-break election is because a closely divided Senate’s future may hinge on the coattails of the presidential winner. An aging Supreme Court may also translate into perhaps three to four court picks for the next president.

Yet such considerations only partly explain the current election frenzy.

The model of the imperial Obama presidency is the greater fear. Over the last eight years, Obama has transformed the powers of presidency in a way not seen in decades.

As far as the U.S. media is concerned, if it is President Clinton everything will continue as it is. If, on the other hand, it is President Trump then executive over reach will become an existential threat to the continued existence of The Republic.

How foolish of you… There is no Hillary or Trump. It is a way to play on people. A theater – a stage. The only “president” that will be in power – and the last one – is Obama. They will make it seem as if both candidates for the next presidency, are null and void.

And slowly, Obama will remain the last president in history. Because times have changed and we are entering a New World Order. As imagined long time ago. You are both lucky and unlucky to witness it. But you are here. And you will witness it.

    Obama is the last president.

That’s some crazy shit right there.

The imperial Obama presidency marks the fall of the replic and the rise of an empire rules by the oligarchs who’s “turn’ it is.

Its the fall of the Roman empire all over, but without the prospect for any competent emperors, just crooks like Clinton

As was observed elsewhere; 0bama has turned the office of president into that of emperor, the only question is… will it be a Hadrian or a Caligula?

To be fair, he didn’t start the trend of concentrated executive authority. But maybe he’ll be the last.

At least one political prognosticator I’ve read speculated that, in the wake of a Trump victory, Obama would use his remaining weeks to conduct political scorched earth, divesting the Executive branch of much of its accumulated power.

Now THAT would be a commendable legacy for Obama to leave, even if he does do it just to spite Trump, and not for the health of the republic. It’s the kind of thing that would make his ideological enemies genuinely celebrate him, which would make his ego tremble in delight.

I fully expect that we will be treated to his petulant child routine on steroids.

Every one of the Blacks he put into power was either stupid or a corrupt racist which invalidates all that talk by Blacks in the 1970’s that the USA will be better once they get in power.

Right , look what they did to Liberia , Detroit and Chicago .

The sole reason that Obama has transformed the powers of the presidency is that he was allowed to get away with it. Yes, the Republican establishment did nothing. In fact I cannot even begin to count the number of valid reasons justifying his impeachment, but again nothing done.
