The Lie That Launched Black Lives Matter

The Black Lives Matter movement began as a hashtag in July 2013 immediately after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Although the movement would be reinforced along the way by any number of lies — “Hands up don’t shoot” comes quickly to mind — not enough attention has been paid to the original lie, one that may eventually launch a thousand riots before it burns itself out, namely that Trayvon Martin was an innocent little boy.

… with the flames of the insane divisions fanned by the leader of the USA. Criminal malfeasance. He could have defused the whole thing, but that would be assuming that the president is working for his country.

You’re absolutely correct.I never liked the dude from the get go but after his comments about Trayvon I started to loath the man..What kind of person would make a statement like that on an ongoing case without all the facts being in?The media have a large hand in it too I have no use for them as well..

Identity politics is what vote-whoring politicians do. Power can be gained by appealing to emotions. One of the left’s most common tactics.

Not just once but several times he has interjected himself into ongoing investigations, and seemingly always on the wrong side.

  • I would very much enjoy crossing out ‘martyrs’ and painting ‘criminals’.

People lie all the fucking time.
it’s when they are paid to lie on a massive scale that problems arise. Soros, Obama, the Turd…
At least Soros uses his own money…

Examining the original lie isn’t going to accomplish much of anything, aside from being an interesting historical footnote. A wannabe cop and a wannabe gangsta got into a dick measuring competition, which escalated to violence and one died. After that, mythology takes over, with Zimmerman and Martin each becoming whatever narrative device is convenient.
