OU grad students demand renaming of Roger E. Ailes Newsroom
Ohio University’s Graduate Student Senate voted unanimously Tuesday to call for the removal of former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes’ name from the campus newsroom.
The vote comes in response to numerous allegations of sexual harassment against Ailes, who left Fox in July with a $40 million resignation agreement. Fox subsequently reached a $20 million settlement this week with former host Gretchen Carlson over her sexual harassment claims against Ailes.
Anti-immigrant Hungary PM Orban says Mass Migration causes “elimination” of “historical identities.”
The ‘Man of the Year’ award, considered to be the most prestigious accolade presented during the Economic Forum in the Polish southern resort town of Krynica-Zdroj, was handed to Orban by Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo.
The Hungarian PM said that the Visegard Group – which consists of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia – could become a driving force behind EU reform following the UK’s decision to leave the bloc.
Yes, “Unarmed” People Often Deserve To Be Shot
There is a disturbing lack of sanity that has emerged in recent years which argues against all of human history that an “unarmed” person simply isn’t a dangerous threat. The media, community activists, attorneys, and politicians are asserting that regular citizens and law enforcement officers should be able to handle unarmed threats without firearms at all times. That certainly seems to be the argument made by Shumpert’s family and their fantasy-addicted attorney.

Trump would give generals 30 days for IS plan
If elected president, Trump says he will give his top generals a “simple” instruction: Within 30 days, come up with a plan for “soundly and quickly defeating” the Islamic State group.
The Republican presidential nominee has been aggressively courting veterans this week. The group marks a traditionally loyal Republican constituency, although some have expressed concerns about Trump’s readiness to serve as commander-in-chief.
Leitch defends proposal for ‘anti-Canadian’ screening
Conservative leadership candidate Kellie Leitch isn’t backing down from her proposal to screen new immigrants for “anti-Canadian” values, despite criticism from within her own party.
Speaking to Power Play host Don Martin on Wednesday, Leitch defended the controversial idea and suggested it’s not unlike current security screening methods.
“It’s not intolerant to believe in a set of values that we expect everyone to share,” Leitch said in a phone interview from Quebec City, where she is taking French lessons. “I think that being respectful of other religions, cultures (and) sexual orientations are Canadian values.”
‘White Week’ Fliers Prompt Protest, Investigation on Kentucky Campus
Fliers mocking “Welcome Black Week” with a “Welcome White Week” posted around the Northern Kentucky University campus this week have prompted demonstrations against racial intolerance on campus and an investigation by school officials.
The fliers advertise a number of events and seminars around campus such as “White Lives Matter vs. Black Lives Matter,” “Pizza Party for Tolerance” and “L.G.B.T.Q.R.S.T.U.V. and You” in an apparent attempt to ridicule the school’s annual “Welcome Black Week” events.
Granting Divorce Rights to Women Will Encourage Men to Burn or Kill Wife, Says Muslim Law Board
“If there develops serious discord between the couple, and the husband does not at all want to live with her, legal compulsions of time-consuming separation proceedings and expenses may deter him from taking the legal course. In such instances, he may resort to illegal, criminal ways of murdering or burning her alive,” stated the AIMPLB’s affidavit, submitted in court Friday.
The board also said that divorce proceedings instead of triple talaq could damage a woman’s chances of re-marriage if the husband indicts her of loose character in court.

Gab.ai is The Pro-Free Speech Social Network
Freedom of speech — as protected by The First Amendment of the United States Constitution — has been central to America’s philosophy since it’s founding.
Yet, it’s been under attack on social media, in mainstream media and on college campuses.
Twitter has been removing trending hashtags and banning users. YouTube has recently stopped allowing creators with controversial content to monetize their work. Even Apple’s App store is showing partisanship.
For creators who have built their audience and business on these platforms, this is devastating. For readers who value free speech, this is equally devastating.
Rational discourse is essential to surfacing facts and determining public policies and moral philosophies. But with big media and social media companies abandoning any resemblance of bi-partisanship, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for important ideas to be heard.
