Every Network Cuts Live Feed Of Trump’s Speech To Black Church
You just know if it was some nonsense speech from some racist group talking about Donald Trump, they’d hang on every word and leave every microphone and camera on until the last word.
But when it’s a gracious pastor from a black church literally anointing Donald Trump, the cameras all shut off mid-stream. I wonder why.
Globe & Mail buried these poll numbers about immigration (and Trudeau should be worried)
The new Globe & Mail/Nanos poll is the very first one I’ve seen that shows a very distinct difference between where the Canadian public is, and where the Trudeau government is going, on the topic of immigration and refugees.
The Globe barely reported on some of the most interesting numbers:
74 per cent of Canadians support more security on Middle East immigrants, and 39 per cent of Canadians want fewer immigrants overall.
13 mobile devices. 2 devices recovered. 11 devices still missing. Hillary Clinton was more than just “careless”
Newly-released FBI documents on the investigation into her mishandling of classified information show that while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used 11 smartphones, and 2 devices thereafter.
In other words, she did not have one device for “convenience”, but 13 mobile devices, for???
It gets even better…investigators tried to recover all 13 mobile devices. Two had been destroyed, and none of the others could be found. Eleven devices used by the US Secretary of State are nowhere to be found.
U of I Senate wants ‘substantial consequences’ for ‘intolerance’
The bill is reportedly a response to a Spring Break-themed party last semester that student activist groups deemed culturally insensitive because some attendees wore Arab keffiyehs and Mexican sombreros.
Students were also upset over pro-Trump chalk drawings during the spring semester that said “Build the wall,” and “They have to go back,” and suggested that such chalkings make people feel unsafe on campus.
Report: ‘British Muslim Male 170 Times More Likely to Be Part of a Sex Grooming Gang Than a Non-Muslim’
Some scandals are so massive that they’re simply hard to believe. As many as one million white English children may have been the victims of Muslim rape gangs, better known as grooming gangs, in towns up and down Great Britain.
Policy analyst George Igler says, “When you encounter an issue that is just so unbelievable, just so outside your frame of reference and understanding, the immediate human reaction is just one to not believe it at all.”
Perhaps even harder to believe is that while there have been prosecutions, the British government has still not stopped this criminal activity.
United Nations-Backed Orgs Promoting Terrorism, Anti-Semitism, Violence
“Bigots, anti-Semites, and terrorist advocates” are “spreading hatred and inciting violence” from within the halls of the United Nations with full backing of the international organization, according to a report that shines new light on the lack of proper administrative oversight at Turtle Bay.
“Most striking for an organization founded on the ashes of the Holocaust, the UN enables its accredited NGOs [non-governmental organizations] to play a central role in promoting modern anti-Semitism,” the report states. “Although the preamble of the UN Charter promises the equal rights of nations large and small, UN-accredited NGOs foster the destruction of the UN member state of Israel.”
YouTube to punish politically incorrect opinions
YouTube will now retain the right to demonetize any videos that contain, “Controversial or sensitive subjects and events, including subjects related to war, political conflicts, natural disasters and tragedies, even if graphic imagery is not shown.”
“Inappropriate language, including harassment, profanity and vulgar language,” is also being demonetized.
Caution: Lena Dunham Twofer
Lena Dunham Mocked for Assuming NFL Star Odell Beckham Jr. Snubbed Her ‘Marshmallow’ Body
Actress and Girls showrunner Lena Dunham came under fire on social media Friday after attributing sexist comments to NFL player Odell Beckham, Jr. during an interview with fellow actress Amy Schumer — but Beckham never made the comments, because Dunham and Beckham did not interact with each other during the time the actress describes.
“I was sitting next to Odell Beckham Jr., and it was so amazing because it was like he looked at me and he determined I was not the shape of a woman by his standards. He was like, ‘That’s a marshmallow. That’s a child. That’s a dog.’ It wasn’t mean — he just seemed confused,” Dunham said.
Lena Dunham faces a backlash on Twitter after ‘racist’ tweet from five years ago resurfaces
The 30-year-old Girls star was blasted on Friday by Twitter users for the tweet that has been branded as ‘gross’ that she had posted back in July 2011.
‘An uncool thought to have: “is that guy walking in the dark behind me a rapist? Never mind, he’s Asian,”‘ Dunham’s tweet read.
Dunham has not addressed the ordeal which comes as she has apologized to New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for making ‘narcissistic assumptions’ about his motivations in an article published on Friday on her website Lenny Letter.
UK 2016: Mohammed Most Popular Boys Name Once Again
Mohammed is the most popular name for boys in England and Wales- but it doesn’t top the official list because there are so many different ways to spell it.
There were 7,361 children born last year called Mohammed, Muhammed, Mohammad or Mohamed, according to the Office for National Statistics, which would have made it the number one boys name if the variations were taken into account.
This shows plainly there is no “integration” occurring. If you’re born in another country and you want your child to integrate, you give them a local name so they’re treated like everyone else.
My Electoral Forecast Model
Okay, this has nothing to do with national security law or policy. What’s more, this is way, way outside my area of expertise. But I have this feeling that this may be of interest to some Lawfare readers, so I’m going to post it to this site once and then never mention it here again: I’ve developed a super-crude electoral forecast model.
The Mail Ate Hillary’s Laptop: More From The FBI Files
Here’s the interesting thing about the pre-Labor Day data dump from the FBI on the investigation of Hillary Clinton. What it reveals is just how much the FBI seems to have swallowed from her, without crying foul or pursuing her ridiculous responses further.
The right answer, if Hillary truly had no personal memory of the relevant events, would start with, “I checked with my records/people on that, and… [fill in the verifiable answer here].” Instead, we’re asked to believe that what Hillary couldn’t personally remember after December 2012 is all there is to recover. Or, at least, we’re asked to believe that the FBI accepted that bizarre response — instead of very properly suspecting that something really fishy was going on here.
Five Ways to Keep the Lights on When the Power Fails
Freak blizzards. Hurricanes, like Sandy or Irene. That weird blackout from 2003. Any number of things can leave you in the dark! But, fear not… I have written about a number of solutions to keep basic power on, whether you live in an apartment or a house. This time I’ll spare you from having to run out and get batteries for your flashlights, or worry about burning your house down with candles.
Littersweet Symphony: Album For Cats Released
David Teie, a scientist and cellist in the US National Symphony Orchestra, raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through crowdfunding and sold 10,000 copies of his record independently.
He was then offered a deal with Universal Music and his album Music For Cats is set for release on 28 October.
Mr Teie said that the music was created based on his scientific theory that cats appreciate music through the sounds they hear as kittens, such as their mother’s purr or birds chirping.
