Justin Trudeau Useful Idiot

‘Canada is back’ slogan a disgrace

Canadians have grown used to the federal Liberal party’s decades of smugness and sense of entitlement.

But of all the slogans the Liberals have bestowed upon themselves — including the false one that they are Canada’s natural governing party — none is more offensive than Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s claim “Canada is back”.

Think of the arrogance it takes to come up with that.

The only thing “back” is the LPC at the public trough.

He is right Canada is back and Harper plus his followers can’t take a (No) for an answer , well too bad .

So you love to see the country overrun with Muslims.

          • Maurixio Garciasanchez

            Don’t worry I don’t see any Muslim running as a PM .

          • Billy Bob Thornton

Most of what is said about Trudeau on the right are just conspiracy theories because Trudeau is not Muslim and I would say that Harper using Islamist was more about giving the right the red meat they wanted to hear rather than doing anything about immigration which I want dealt with.

Immigration is not the only problem. There has been a steady decline of wages even since the financial crisis. I know many will point to how Canada’s middle class got better but there is that notion that whenever people stop looking for work in the job market they are not counted as unemployed. Which means just like every other Western nation Canada is doing just as bad.

I want more minor parties to deal with the situations in Canada. I do not expect a bunch of partisans will ever understand Canada’s real situation which is that Canada may have the lowest debt to GDP ratio but that was thanks to Paul Martin’s restructuring. In the end, all debts around the West continue to rise and no party cares about it except the illusions created by mainstream politicians fighting with other parties about deficit slaying and discussing about supposed jobs being created. Much of it is ramped up and all nations appear to be getting worse on job creation with GDP way down since 1999. That is the real canary in the coal mine.

        • Billy Bob Thornton

Canada is better off now only so far as there will be more media freedom and openness, but as far as jobs and deficits the record will still be as bad under Trudeau as was the case with Harper.

The Liberals and Conservatives have a similar economic policies with Harper wanting the TPP and Trudeau weighing his options on the TPP and free trade. The Conservatives exceeded the Liberals on immigration in their tenure, so Conservatives should be protesting their own party. I feel that mainstream politics is an inch wide with very little differences. The differences only exist in perception which many on here swallow hook, line, and sinker.

In fact, Harper’s messaging policy is what helped accelerate people wanting the regime gone, as well as their dishonesty on Senate nomination, secrecy in the PMO, and remember that parties defeat themselves.

That is what is important, and what I find laughable is that many believed the surplus when there already was the loss of jobs even in the summer and spring of 2015.

          • Maurixio Garciasanchez

You are absolutely right in some issues , the previous government was taking our rights and freedoms away from us , base on the economy it looks like both parties share almost the same ideas except that this time it makes more sense to invest on the infrastructure of the country not on wars or invasions.

I am a civic nationalist which means liberal nationalism, anti-bigotry, anti-xenophobia, anti-racism, anti-war, anti-free trade, mixed economics and a return to 70’s-style capitalism. I have always been a fan of Paul Hellyer, Mel Hurtig, Joe Clark, Flora MacDonald, and David Orchard. Which is why I have two memberships with the Progressive Canadian party and the Canadian Action party.

The fact is our system is broken and no party can fix the underlying issues with mainstream tactics any longer. I call it the reverse Reform party movement because we need to return to 1970’s Canadian capitalism again. It must be anti-globalist and anti-free trade.

Infrastructure will not fix something this complex. It needs structural changes. Harper’s tax cuts were mostly corporate and did nothing for Canada besides paying off his corporate buddies, which the Liberals themselves supported.

As far as the wars go, Liberals sound peaceful but are still warlike and they do wars from the backdoor. Conservatives are upfront, but both ideologies want war as the primary goal and that means they are two sides of the same imperialist, warmonger and globalist coin.

Which is why Canada needs a strong fourth party and one which wants peace, true nationalism, and freedom.

Back to running high deficits and high unemployment.

    • Billy Bob Thornton

Harper’s deficit budgets totaled at around 6 or 7 out of 9, and that means that the Harper regime did not have a good record at all. Governments do not care about full employment. They only want to remain in power as long as possible and let the other party which will inevitably take over have the poor times.

Remember that the bad times for oil pricing worldwide started in 2014, and Alberta started bleeding jobs as early as early 2015. That prompted people to vote in the Alberta NDP, but unemployment can never be full without a stable amount of jobs.

We do have low interest rates and I do agree now is a time for prudent spending but Trudeau and Harper were after power and not so much helping out the Millenials which are still in double digit unemployment even after 10 years approximately. That is Harper’s record. Trudeau merely will carry on Harper’s sorry record!
