Trudeau fiddles, Canada burns

If Trudeau can tear himself away from admiring his comic book avatar — while visiting the “basic dictatorship” of China he so admires — he should think about this.

Governing is for grown-ups. So it’s time to put down the selfie stick and start acting like one.

It’s only 1.6%, that still leaves us 98.4%.

  • JaedoDrax

TBH, I’d rather have him doing publicity tours than governing. The article read like a command for the government to “do something!”; the government usually does the wrong thing, in the wrong way, at the wrong time. And who knew that the current prescription was to emulate the Bob Rae government of Ontario to needlessly run up the debt.

  • canminuteman

We’re probably better off when he sticks to the selfie stick.

  • eMan14

He’s as useful as a selfie stick.

Don’t worry, when the housing bubble bursts and CMHC goes tits up and thousand lose their homes and equity to the banks we will see how ineffective he will be at governing.

Older than 12? Still reading comic books?

    You’re a fag.

A quick look at history should be a lesson to our oligarchs.

” the Canadian economy in the second quarter ending June 30 suffered
its largest decline since the Great Recession of 2009, shrinking by
    1.6%, worse than predicted.
That came hard on the heels of Canada’s trade deficit growing to an
all-time high of $19.9 billion in the second quarter of 2016.

But, but, but, the economy will balance itself.
    What a f*cking ‘tard

But he goes to every homosexual parade in Canada, That’s important in modern day Sunny Ways Canada. He is wonderful.

Having a harder time day by day finding people who will own up to voting for this pin head.

Canada is on the verge of another recession much like the rest of the West is actually going through. Have people seen how Europe is doing and the United States?

It will take more than simple tax cuts or infrastructure spending to get out of the hole that the West is in. In fact, many websites have claimed on the conspiratorial right and left, which I tend to agree with, are claiming that this next recession which is usually a 7 to 8 year cycle on average is going to be a 25 year long recession.

That will mean 1 generation lost and it has already been close to 10 years if not 10 years already since the last major recession happened. This means that the system is not working for society as a whole, and I would say that Harper was in power or starting at the time and it will take more than ideology to get out of it.

Also, just because a politician says one thing off the cuff does not make them instantly communist or fascist. China is actually fascist because workers do not own the means of production and largely China has poor human rights records mixed with private enterprise.

They are a dictatorship in a one-party state, but China is struggling because not too many people are buying their cheaply made goods.

Just because Trudeau is visiting China and happens to be a centre-left politician does not make him a communist because spending alone does not make a politician far-left.

Far-left is defined as either anarcho-communist. Marxist Leninist, radical Trotskyist, radical socialist, and these are all different areas on the authoritarian to the libertarian scale.

Of course, most of those systems in the far-left to left range have workers owning the means of production, reduced to no private property and nationalized industries on mass. So this claim that Trudeau is communist, socialist or anarcho-communist or libertarian socialist is a myth.

I frankly as a nationalist believe that Trudeau is continuing the right wing neoliberal agenda economically because he may want Keynesianism but he is still a massive free trader and for reduced business taxes in the long run.

I think we need small business but higher corporate taxes in a protectionist and nationalist environment around the system that we had when we used the Bank of Canada.

It is simple Trudeau is not communist but another neoliberal going back to the early 80’s. The only way to have national freedom is to be anti-globalization and anti-economic liberalism.

Neoliberalism means “privatisation, deregulation, globalisation and tax cuts”. All of this is a process with progress in that direction which I firmly oppose because it means a race to the bottom and more markets being opened in a broad manner.

Trudeau is for the TPP which Harper’s party does support.

Trudeau is for globalization which all three parties support.

Trudeau is for privatization of most areas of government which Harper and Mulcair support.

Even deregulation is substantially higher than the mid to late 70’s.

If people think we are headed towards communism or even socialism or even social democracy, they are 100% wrong. We are not even social liberal but massively economic liberal.

Economic nationalism is the only way to fix most Western economies or else it is Zimbabwe territory.

He isn’t a grown-up, so don’t expect him to be able to act like one. He is a puppet and does and says whatever his puppeteers direct him to do.
