Fears of an anti-Muslim backlash as Eid al-Adha falls on 15th anniversary of 9/11

Muslim leaders in the US fear people will think they are celebrating 9/11 after it emerged a major festival has the potential to fall on September 11 this year.

According to the lunar calendar that Muslims follow for religious holidays, Eid al-Adha looks set to fall around the 15th anniversary of the 2001 Al Qaeda atrocity which claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people.

Then do the gracious thing, you whiny self-victimizing a**holes, and choose another date.

    • Oh but we must accommodate the Religion of Peace!

And we already know they will be celebrating.

Behind closed doors at Mosque they WILL cheer 9/11 in the guise of Eid.
Since 9/11/01 we have been waiting to see ANY backlash attacks to muslims or Mosques which would come close to the level from the muslim paranoia to fear mass riots and torched mosques.

This is very telling though , it’s always the Thief that is the first to accuse others of stealing which means that Muslims expect backlash terrorism because they KNOW that it’s what THEY would do because it’s sanctioned in the quran for revenge attacks when muslims are attacked.

Look at how over 150 people were MURDERED by muslims over the muhammed cartoons and yet when they slaughter people just for being non-muslims that offend allah…..the Imam’s and islamic org’s call for calm and not to assign blame to mete out revenge.

basically , shut up and accept being killed by jihad if you don’t convert.

If Islam is such a peaceful religion why are they so fearful of backlashes?

But, but, but, but…9/11 had nothing to do with Islam, so what’s the problem?

  • infedel

You have not seen the well deserved backlash that is storming…

The non-existent backlash we’ve been hearing about for 15 years. The MFs commit atrocities day in and day out. When there finally is a backlash most people really won’t give a flipping’ sh!t.

It would be a nice multicultural gesture if Mayor Sharia John could see his way clear to offering the facilities of the TTC for EID celebrants to bring their “sacrifices” down to Nathan Phillips Square for a mass slaughter. Bet that would upstage Mississauga no end seeing how CBC is practically just around the corner when it comes to facilitating live coverage. Next year a few donated camels could be flown in by helicopter to help keep the ball rolling.

It would be the right thing to do if in October for Islamic History Month Mayor Tory would sanction turning the CN Town into an honorary Minaret from which to call the beautiful Adhan for all of downtown Toronto to hear for the month.

That would prove Toronto is no longer an Islamophobic city but a true World Class City.

Never mind the thousands of slaughtered infidels. Won’t you take pity on the poor Mohammedans?

    I smell a pre-emptive pile of steaming bullshit…..

Here is a note from a Islamic “scholar”… (Apparently he is being investigated in India for terrorist activities – surprise, SURPRISE…)

  • Muslims fear backlash over tomorrows terrorist attack.

An anti-Muslim backlash — it’s about time, too.
