Why Pegasus is the most powerful smartphone spyware ever detected

On August 25 Apple advised all iPhone users to immediately install a security update to avoid being infected by the “Pegasus” spyware, which some experts are calling the “most sophisticated” software ever created to spy on smartphones.

The discovery of the Pegasus spyware on an iPhone came as a shock to the cyber security world. The software was created by the Israeli company NSO as a way to spy on Apple, Android and Blackberry smartphone users.

    Whatever security updates Apple comes up with, Israelis will find a way around them. Especially since certain Apple components are manufactured in Israel.

    Is it possible to take the company to court and sue them for loading something on your phone that you don’t want there? Couldn’t that be considered trespassing? Isn’t steeling personal information theft? The way I see it this company is guilty of break enter and theft and they should be in jail for it.;

      The company wrote the software, then sold the package to others. The others then created the setup to infect the phones.

        Aiding and abetting maybe? If I was walking down a street with tools for steeling cars in my pocket I would be arrested even if they hadn’t caught me steeling a car.
