Turkey’s Erdogan: Islamic State suicide bomber who killed 50 at wedding party ‘was between 12 and 14 years old’

The suicide bomber who killed at least 50 people in an attack on a wedding party in Turkey was between 12 and 14 years old, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the country’s president, said in a televised address on Sunday.

Mr Erdogan blamed the Islamic State terrorist group for the Saturday night blast in the southern city of Gaziantep, the deadliest terror attack to hit the country this year.

At least 69 people were wounded. A prosecutor said the remains of a suicide vest had been found at the scene.
