Paul Manafort Resigns from Trump Campaign

Paul Manafort, installed as the chief strategist for Donald J. Trump’s campaign after the firing of his original campaign manager, handed in his resignation on Friday morning.

Mr. Manafort left nearly a week after a New York Times report about tumult within the Republican presidential nominee’s campaign helped precipitate a leadership shake-up. His departure reflects repeated efforts to steady a campaign that has been frequently roiled by the behavior of its tempestuous first-time candidate.

Sorry but I don’t see the big deal here, he didn’t seem to work out, has his own baggage and Bannon is a better fit.

I find the media coverage the last few weeks hysterical. After spending a year trying unsuccessfully to spin everything he says into a negative to get people to revolt against his campaign, now they are just skipping the middle man and reporting people are turning against him in massive numbers, despite little evidence to back that up. I’ve noticed no upswing in “gaffes” he’s made, yet the media keeps saying he is making a million of them and his campaign is “going off the rails”. The polls are all over the place, as they have been all year, but I’ve not seen one person I know who supports Trump waiver one bit. Yet according to MSM, people are dropping him in droves.
The only sad thing is they might actually convince some people.

  • This doesn’t look good.

Nevertheless, the popular press will drag this out and ignore Hillary’s criminal behaviour.
