Ontarians reject cap-and-trade: Poll

Twice as many Ontario voters oppose Premier Kathleen Wynne’s cap-and-trade plan as support it, with the remainder undecided, according to a new Forum Research poll.

The interactive voice response poll conducted Aug. 15 found 56% of 1,097 randomly selected Ontario voters opposed Wynne’s cap-and-trade plan, with 28% in support and 16% undecided.

Unfortunately the predatory public service unions will keep Wynne in power.

If you can I suggest you leave Ontario.

    Friday morning comic relief…

Tell that to the nitwit leader of the Ontario ‘Progressive’ Conservatives who has swallowed the climate scam hook, line and sinker.

      No surprise.
Replacing one insider nitwit with another is SOP for PCO.
Except when all the bright lights figure the “right” should be given a turn to shut them up especially when the cause is really hopeless.
Which explains the Mike Harris fluke leadership win.

Comparing CA$1.05/liter (ergo US$2.96/gallon) to the prices generally found for 87 octane on the US side of, say US$2.00/gallon, and recognizing that US$0.60 of which is a gas tax, implies that Ontarioners are already paying a 100% carbon tax.

Cleptoid Wynne is just looking for another “revenue tool”.

  • Maggat

In the final analysis Wynne’s govt is in fact a Kleptographic Kakistocracy.

  • It doesn’t matter. The Liberals rule unilaterally.
