Corporations win, we lose with Premier Kathleen Wynne’s cap-and-trade plan

Premier Kathleen Wynne’s cap-and-trade carbon pricing scheme will subsidize major corporations at the expense of Ontario taxpayers.

Of 240 industrial greenhouse gas emitters which will come under the scheme, 102 will receive free carbon credits from the government — free money — for at least the first four years of the program which starts Jan. 1.

I just knew i shouldn’t have checked my news feeds this morning.

I’d sure like to know who those favoured 102 companies are so I can boycott them for their treachery. Of course, they’ve all donated generously to OLP coffers.

The day is rapidly approaching when Wynntariowe descends even further into third-world status with neighbour battling neighbour over the last rolls of toilet paper on poorly-stocked shelves which is probably the least of the social ills that lie in wait for us.

Time to get out those pitchforks, sheeples!!

    WTF

What did those 102 companies getting their carbon credits for free have to do? I can smell the corruption from here.

Don’t worry, she still has time to make people in Ontario become gender neutral perverts. The National Post website has a story on how she planning for even more government documents to become gender neutral, including birth certificates.

  • “Cap and trade” = socialist wet-dream.

Carbon tax, cap and trade equals racketeering.

List those corporations on the “carbon train”, that way consumers can contact them about the “Plan”. Others can divest themselves of their stock, if publicly traded, if they wish to do so, or show up at the shareholder’s meetings to berate the corporate principles & their directors about how much they appreciate their “nationalization” by the Liberal Party of Ontario at the expense of their shareholders & the paying public. They might want to spread that new found wealth by upping their dividend payouts to shareholders, if on the receiving end of this scam.

Oh, and while we’re at it….what doth say that so-called “conservative” government in waiting on this? Any backlash planned, using the names of these 102 corporations in their march to the legislature? Any planned public shaming, any urging of boycotts of said named corporations?

there is no conservative party in Ontario

      We are disenfranchised

We will have to vote NDP to force a government change

giving them enough time to carefully transition their businesses out of Ontario.

Kathleen Wynne’s plan to keep corporations from leaving Ontario is through corporate welfare and subsidies.
