Countries with the best and worst reputations for 2016 revealed
As terror incidents cause tourism to cool off in Turkey and social media spreads images of US police shootings, a country’s reputation has perhaps never been so easily made and broken.
That is the warning from a study which ranks how 70 nations around the world are viewed in the eyes of its ever-observant international audience. Sweden took the crown from last year’s winner Australia, and Canada won second place under current prime minister Justin Trudeau.
National Security Experts for Destroying America
The notion that Hillary Clinton is a trusted national security choice is absurd on the face of it. Not only is she inexperienced, but her experience consisted of fostering the ISIS takeover of entire countries.
In reality, the Clinton campaign has recruited a number of people with impressive sounding titles and is rolling out endorsements and attacks by them in short order using major media outlets. Instead of reporting on the fact that this is a campaign tactic, the media not only provides a forum and free advertising for the Clinton campaign in its op-ed sections, but also maintains the illusion that this is an independent phenomenon rather than a fake viral campaign by their favored candidate.
Secret Trump voters reverse their support: ‘He seems to be insane’
“Anyone who is willing to put the trigger for America’s nuclear weapons in the hands of someone like this is placing the future of human civilization at risk. I believe we must do anything to prevent Trump from ever reaching the Oval Office. Even if it means voting for Hillary Clinton,” added the retired biomedical engineer.
Another voter, a white male early retiree who lives in the Sonora desert, said he no longer backs Trump as he “seems to be insane. I no longer believe it is possible that he could truly represent the people who support him and need what he promised.”
Hungary’s war on migration: Now Orban unleashes 3,000 extra cops to defend border
Karoly Kontrat, the minister of state of the ministry of interior, did not hold back on his criticism as he insisted there are hundreds of terrorists in Europe as a result of migration.
So far this year Hungary says it has registered 19,140 asylum applications and more than 14,000 migrants have crossed its southern borders illegally.
Quebec killed a billion trees and 10,000 animals for an ENERGY project. Where’s the “green” outrage?
Quebec Liberals are so self-righteous about their energy. If you ask them, they say it’s renewable, clean energy, from hydroelectric dams. Not like that “dirty” Alberta oil!
Except Quebec’s dam system was created by flooding thousands of square kilometres of forests.
When you flood a forest, you kill the trees just the same as if you chopped them down — except their wood can’t even get used for anything, and they don’t grow back.
And 10,000 caribou died from the mercury released by the flooding. But when a single duck gets covered in oil in the Alberta oilsands, it’s international news.
Report: FBI Is Now Investigating The Clinton Foundation
According to an exclusive The Daily Caller report, a former senior law enforcement official said the FBI has started multiple probes into alleged corruption linked to The Clinton Foundation. The person said investigators are zeroing in on the main offices in New York City. They’ll be helped by various U.S. attorneys, including Preet Bharara, who is stationed out of the Southern District of New York.
There’s No Way I’ll Send My Kids To Public School To Be Brainwashed By The LGBT Lobby
The new transgender-affirming policy allows students to select their own gender and then choose the bathroom (although that part is on hold for now), extracurricular activity, sport, etc., that best fits whatever label they happen to identify with at the moment. Boys will even be permitted to take part in “all-girl” overnight excursions, so long as they become girls for the duration of the trip. Of course, the studious observer might wonder how a boy can identify as a girl if we aren’t allowed to call people girls anymore. Gender fluidity may allow a boy to not be a boy, but it also makes it impossible for him to be a girl, considering that both designations no longer mean anything.
Why The Media Disinformation Campaign Against Donald Trump Will Fail
It is interesting that the media is now taking an “All of the above” approach to their endless attacks, and this is rather noteworthy. Gone are the blanket recitations of “Trump is a racist” or “Trump is a sexist.” Instead, the media is employing a tactic the Marines refer to as “spray and pray.” They don’t have any specific targets, but they know they are cornered, so they are wildly swinging about with their finger down on the full auto trigger. Hillary herself seems like an inexperienced boxer flailing about looking for an early K.O. since she knows she will not last the 15 rounds.
The clearest example of this is the (widely ridiculed) Reuters and CNN polls which are practically sampling Democrats over Republicans at a 2:1 ratio. Such a high ratio is not reflective in any reasonable nationwide accounting of party registration, but hey, who cares? Let’s just run it anyway since it makes for endless grumbling and gnashing of teeth!
French Gov’t Urges Citizens to House ‘Refugees’ In Their Own Homes
There are currently 147 reception centres across France, but these are in massive demand as desperate refugees continue to flee the Middle East.
Housing minister Emmanuelle Cosse has pledged to built a further 50 centres before the end of next month in a desperate bid to ease the crisis.
But she has also called on French people to open up their homes to migrants in need. Several organisations have already promised to help.
Majority of Canadians Think ‘Universal Basic Income’ Too Expensive, Makes People Lazy
Canadians may support a guaranteed minimum income in principle, but they don’t want to pay for it and they suspect it may turn people into shiftless louts, according to a new survey by the Angus Reid Institute.
As many as 67 per cent of respondents backed a guaranteed income set at $30,000, provided that the payment would “replace most or all other forms of government assistance.”
However, nearly as many (66 per cent) said they would not be willing to pay more taxes to support such a program, and 59 per cent said it would be too expensive to implement.
A further 63 per cent said it would “discourage people from working.” Among Conservative voters, this sentiment jumped to 74 per cent of respondents. But even in the NDP camp respondents were split 50-50.
