Sliming Trump

How the media smear machine markets minor benign details as the sinister deeds of an evil man.

Now that Donald Trump is safely ensconced as the official Republican nominee for president, the mainstream media is running an intense around-the-clock operation to deprive him of the relatively unfiltered media exposure he needs to seal the deal with the American people.

Trump being silly and playful in front of TV cameras or utilizing his sense of humor is cast as evidence of a disordered, antisocial mind. The media is focusing on minor benign details and marketing them as the evil deeds of an evil man.

The best hing for Trump would be to remain who he is without an artificial act and attack, attack and attack.

I agree. Stay focused on the economy and jobs for Americans. He doesn’t need to smear Hillary, she comes pre-smeared.

      • Maggat

        She’s a positive PAP smear.

      • Norman_In_New_York

Hillary will call it a smear if he merely tells the truth about her.

He will get more fame if he stands trial for his fake University before the elections.

Donald Trump said that global warming is a fraud. Short of seeing him picking up live babies with a pitchfork, that alone would be enough for me to vote for him.

      It wasn’t a university, spic.

  • Left Media elites were the ultimate decision-makers in Canada as far as who should be our next leader. Not the electorate. I guess we shall soon see if the Left monopoly on opinion is likewise the deciding factor in a U.S. election.

I agree with you, but over time the MSM is losing its power, so there is hope.

Agree but time is NOT on our side. Destruction take far less time than undoing the destruction even when it is possible.

Americans are also more attuned to “liberty and freedom”, or maybe they are just smarter than sheeple Canadians. One thing for sure – Canada is almost over.

      • Alain

No, not smarter but most certainly have a much stronger sense and understanding of the meaning of liberty and freedom than the majority of Canadians. I find that outside my generation, those who knew a different Canada (pre Pearson and Trudeau Sr.) few people even understand the concept of freedom, be it freedom of expression, freedom of association, private property rights and the right to defend oneself and one’s family and property. Now people just accept as normal and acceptable for government to dictate what they can eat, do and how they can live. I admit to finding it very depressing if I focus on it.

      • Last hope for Canada is a resurgent U.S., imo.
