‘No qualms’: Corsica militants warn ISIS they will strike back for terrorist attacks

A militant splinter group on the French island of Corsica has warned Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) that they will fight back if the terrorist group carries out an attack there, while urging Corsican Muslims to unite.

The FLNC October 22 group, a splinter from the main National Liberation Front of Corsica (FLNC) separatist organization, said in statement sent to Corse Matin [Corsica Morning], a local newspaper, that any terrorist acts carried out on Corsican soil would prompt “a determined response without any qualms,” while adding that the French government would be largely to blame if such an attack were to take place.

Because this is what happens when you have a weak and feckless government that will not protect its native citizens from an outside invasion.

If the Corsicans have the military smarts of their favorite son Napoleon, things will become decidedly unpleasant for the jihadists.

For the most part governments have always existed as protection rackets. If they stop provoding that service, someone will.

So now you have a scenario where non-muslim radical extremists, separatists and terrorists become the heroes. Because they are the only entity with any kind of teeth that is ostensibly acting to protect the common citizens of their country/region. Those citizens might not have been big on independence of their ethnic enclave or whatever new political order is being peddled, but they sure as hell aren’t feeling a lot of loyalty for their governments and the EU overlords who’ve instigated and perpetuated this situation.

    Bravo, governments of Europe.

I wouldn’t exactly call anyone trying to protect their lands and homes ‘extremists’. Are you in the media perchance?

I’m talking about groups that were already established and were already pushing for some kind of insurrection that didn’t shy away from using violence, who pre-date the whole muslim migration crisis.

This is looking very interesting. Gotta keep a lid open to monitor this. The Corsicans have little use for mainlanders. Been there. Absolutely beautiful place and amazing people. The cuisine was heavenly…….

    • Exactly my feeling — this is quite unexpected. Saving comments for later developments…

At last, ‘A common sense’ approach to dealing with muzlims.
