Mounties entrapped B.C. pair in terror plot: Judge

Two people found guilty of terror charges will walk free after a British Columbia Supreme Court judge ruled they were entrapped by the RCMP in a police-manufactured crime.

Justice Catherine Bruce said police instigated and skillfully engineered the very terrorist acts committed by John Nuttall and Amanda Korody, who believed they were planting pressure-cooker bombs that would blow up at the legislature on Canada Day in 2013.

Wouldn’t it be easier just to stop muslim immigration?

Hmm…A police manufactured crime. They couldn’t find any real terrorists of the Arabic or African persuasion. I know! Will take a couple of Canadian born deadbeat drug-addicts and recent converts to Islam and coach them up on the finer points of Jihad.

“officers encouraged the couple to follow a quicker timeline or to opt for a more realistic terrorist plot and abandon earlier, less feasible plans such as taking a passenger train hostage or hijacking a nuclear submarine.”

This isn’t new. Back in the old days when everyone was worried about “Neo Nazis”, the vast majority of “neo nazi leaders” were RCMP agents.

      • Although “neo-Nazis” are rather a rare species these days — cops were misguided by the Left narrative, basically wishful thinking.

In the case of Jihadis they are not a rare species, in fact every fundamentalist Muslim young person is a potential Jihadi if they fall in with the right (i.e. wrong) people. And in the end the anti-Semitic genocidal Jihadi terrorists are the closest thing to Nazis we’ve seen since WWII.

          Especially converts.

        That’s correct. Somethings never change.

Deep down inside I felt that the Queen’s Cowboys were trapping those two nitwits. Between their two drug addled brains they didn’t have the intellect to do much more than light up a doobie.
This sure does NOT make the Mounties look to good, does it?

    • Cops deceive all the time.

This was an unelected judge’s opportunity to exercise power.

      • Alain

Yes, another affirmative action appointment. I admit to having no love or respect for what our law enforcement as a whole has descended to, but I have far less for these so-called judges, especially of the affirmative action nature.

        • But that is the way things are all over the country.

          It’s disgusting.

Based on the testimony reported during the trial, this result is highly unsurprising.
