Attack on Nice: Why the French PM was booed

This was a scene never seen before in France at a national act of homage: the head of government booed and called a murderer.

The angry reception that Prime Minister Manuel Valls received when he observed the minute’s silence in Nice is a stark warning of how the mood in the country has changed.

Schadenfreude so thick you can cut it with a machete. Do not weep for the French, they’re getting what they voted for.

Completely silent in the article was the obvious remedy, start deporting Muslims. Had the prime minister announced such a drastic action in the name of public safety, he would have been cheered, not booed.

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls made the statement: “Times have changed, and France is going to have to live with terrorism

He should have resigned after making such a statement.

    …what difference does it make?

“[The] government argues that it pushed through three anti-terror laws and a law on intelligence-gathering, created more than 10,000 jobs in police and the secret services, and foiled 16 terror plots in the last three years.”

And continues to steadily bring in thousands (hundreds of thousands?) of additional Muslims, and of course won’t even at least toy with the idea of expelling those already in France. The elite like Valls just don’t get it: If the people do not force change, clearly it’s not going to happen.

You can ignore the truth, but you can’t avoid the consequences of ignoring the truth.

    • People are getting damn fed up with useless assholes – like the one we have in Ottawa.
