Jason Kenny urges united right as he launches Alberta PC leadership bid

Jason Kenney has confirmed the rumours this morning in Calgary that he will turn to provincial politics and run for the leadership of Alberta’s PCs.

“We must do everything in our power to eliminate the risk of a second NDP term, which would be catastrophic to the province of Alberta,” he said as he announced his campaign at a packed northeast Calgary hotel ballroom.

    Bugger off Kenny.
There is no chance of a second NDP term.
The PC party of Alberta needs to be expunged.

    • BillyHW

His presence will only further divide the right. The Alberta provincial PC party needs to die die die.

Brian Jean has my support and he deserves your support too.

I don’t know your opinion on this but I am supporting Maxime Bernier for the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.
        I’m from Manitoba.

        • simus1

If Max is really sincere about his stated policies, he will be the only real conservative in the race.

          • Alain

I agree that based on what he says he is a conservative on those issues, but those issues alone. He continues to refuse to address the elephant in the country, mass population replacement by mass immigration from 3rd world countries and the on-going importation of Muslims.

Good for him he have a huge team that will him to victory , El Maestro could be in charge of the projects of fraud.

  • Exile1981

No thanks, after your time as immigration minister your not welcome here.

  • Maggat

Hells bells. A bankrupt, non producing Alberta will destroy the economies of Que and maybe even Ontario.
    Is that all bad?

    • dance…dancetotheradio

      That’s the bullshit of equalization.
Every province races to the bottom to get the biggest piece of the ever shrinking pie.

      • Alain

It is rewarding bad fiscal management.

Sorry Ken, we already had one washed up federal CINO carpet bag it here to Alberta from Ottawa to “educate the hicks”.

Prentice got his ass kicked then was too gutless to serve in his constituency so he thought it would be cute to slink off and cost the taxpayer the price of an unnecessary by-election.

Hey CPC feds! Quit sending us your failed leadership wanna-bes. What are we out here? The conservative politician’s recycle bin?
First Prentice sneaks around the periphery of the CPC desperately hoping Harper could not achieve a majority. When Harper did it Prentice leaves in a snit.

Now Jason Kenny who won’t run for the leadership because he knows it will be a long tough haul on the opposition benches so he flees out here where he can be a big fish in a smaller pond.

    Fuck off Kenny

I live in Alberta and I love wild roses

Funny how all of the Progressives just don’t leave and become fiscally-conservative Liberals.
