What the Feminization of the West Has Wrought

“As I noted in my last post, today’s young men no longer identify with the John Waynes of yesteryear. Manly men have gone the way of the dinosaur; I feel as though I snagged the last one of the modern generation.

Not only have men become more effeminate in dress and behavior, they’re taking forever to grow up. A recent Pew Research study concluded that for the first time in modern history, adults ages 18 to 34 are more likely to be living in their parents’ home than they are to be living with a spouse or partner in their own household.

And men are leading that charge”

“You men are ruining this feminist thing!!”

Give us actual feminine and marriageable women, repeal divorce laws and universal suffrage and we’ll come back.

    • V10_Rob

      Feminists are sore winners.

You said you didn’t want us, you said you didn’t need us, so we took you at your word and left.

  • Lorensacho

Total nonsense. Ever played a sport with men? The way most guys compete tells you that men are still hunter gatherers. Plus the fact that there is one gun for every American which tells you that 300 million Americans are locked and loaded.

    Want to attract better men?
    Become a better women!

Women were happiest when they were mostly out of the workforce.

Most of the guys I work with who are in their mid twenties to early thirties are gamers.
Even some of the ones who are married with kids.
I last gamed seriously with my wife in the early aughts when we had no money and were making babies.
      After that, no.
And my kids long ago eclipsed me.

Hell, men too are happiest when we’re out of the workforce, considering a majority of people can’t make a living doing things we enjoy, so we take tiring, monotonous and soul-crushing job to pay the bills.

Seriously ladies, did you really think ‘work’ was this awesome secret club where we had fun all day? You done goofed.

I disagree with the whole premise.

Men are becoming less important in society generally because there are far fewer male-type jobs available that pay a decent income because of outsourcing and automation. My uncle came home from WWII and worked in a Youngstown steel mill, a job which provided his family with a comfortable middle-class life.

When Atlantic magazine did an issue devoted to automation last year, Youngstown was a major example of how things have gone wrong for workers.

    • It is possible for men to be stable husbands and providers for their kids while being salarymen.

The problem is that the unique qualities of men and women are being eradicated. Furthermore, people are more self-centred and idiotic.

Women are so ambitious to money fame and power now , Bill Cosby has the experience on that.

For the millennials, beards are the new beard. If you see a ‘man’ under 30 sporting a beard, he’s likely a soft pudgy feminized beta of indeterminate sexual orientation and identity. You can’t cover that up no matter how much facial hair and flannel you have.

      Some days I don’t shave.
      Most days I do.
I’m not fond of facial hair.
Maybe it’s my hotel and restaurant background.
      I think lumbersexuals are ridiculous.

No guys are reacting rationally to the incentive plans: we’really not wanted or need. Robots will replace us even for sex so why bother pursuing excellence or take risks?

    Nope the plan’s super successful
