    I don’t understand Australian politics and how they could elect a creep like the singer of Midnight Oil to their parliament.
    Then again, we had Andrew Cash.
    At least he won’t be getting a MP’s pension.

        If the British hadn’t colonized Australia then someone else would have.

        By the way, Senate appointments in the Parliamentary system are not elected by the public at large.
        They are appointed by the Governor General on the advice of the Prime Minister.
