Made in our image: The appeal of ‘moderate Muslims’

One of the greatest problems with the much-cherished “moderate/radical” Muslim dichotomy is that it’s entirely based on Western assumptions that have nothing to do with the realities of Islam.

The mythical moderate Muslim is pure wishful thinking, and wishful thinking does not reality make.

I do business with some Muslims and they come across as decent people, but I don’t probe into their inner lives. I saw one the other day. He had been in Istanbul on business a week ago and returned only a day before the airport bombing. When I told him that Kerry’s reaction was that it shows that ISIS is getting desperate, he buried his head in his hands in disgust.

There are only practicing Muslims and non-practicing Muslims and nothing in-between.

Bingo! However how many times have the offspring of those non-practising Muslims, born in the West, gone full Muslim? That is why I keep repeating that accepting any form of Islam is deadly, sooner or later.

heard on fox today that the real dangerous “radical muslims” were the ones that
    believed in sharia !!
