Islamic State group: Why is it attacking Turkey?

It’s conceivable that this was an anniversary show of strength: the jihadists may have lost Falluja but they’re certainly still in business.

Six big IS attacks in Turkey in the space of 12 months. What on earth is happening to the once stable corner of the Middle East?

    Gee….let me guess…..Erdogan is doing something someone doesn’t like…..
It’s called the Madrid maneuvre ….
    Worked last time didn’t it?

Must be time for a regime change.

Erdogan is rather suddenly fawning over Putin (and even making overtures toward Israel); the attackers were all from former Soviet breakaway states – there is speculation that Russia is actually behind the attacks (albeit, not directly, but by deliberately withholding intelligence from the Turks, for instance).

sultan erdogan and Emperor Barry are convinced that once they solve their top level management recruiting problem at the rambunctious hard to tame isis subsidiary,

    • Will Quest

      Bingo…..efing… Bingo ….
Turkey and its islamization is inviting an infestation of barking islamists …..
you need a long spoon when you sup with Al-Shaitan ….

No need to ask why. This is just the norm in the world of Islam. There is no real loyalty, only loyalty of convenience which can change faster than a blink of the eye.

    • canminuteman

And tons of suicidal sub moron intellect lunatics.

  • Hard Little Machine

Who cares? dial it up. kill each other to the last man standing.

My theory is that it’s all a covert struggle to get to the top of a re-established caliphate. Lots of Middle Eastern despots must know that they will quickly fade into historic irrelevance as soon as their oil permanently loses its value, so they are using their billions now to try to take power over the world of Islam. I nominate the Saudi royal family as the most likely culprit…
